- In this video, We finish some much needed bodywork and start prepping the body of Old Mac to have our good friends at Killions Collision, spray Poppys Patina Glossed Out Clear Coat on Old Mac's Freshly sanded paint. Although we heard some comments that we should do a satin finish, everyone at The Journey HQ agrees that the gloss clear looked so much better.

Just bought a 1980 Scottsdale with the brown/tan paint. It's got real patina, as in rust through on the front of the hood, on the passenger cab corner, above the rear fenders, drivers floorboard, and even a rust through hole inside the cab on the ceiling hump. I'd love to LS swap it someday.

What grit sand paper did you use on the truck? Im doin my 84 k15 an this is exactly how i want mine to turn out. Great finish💯🫡
We used 600 all over.
