I have soy wax. When i add scent and color to it, it tends to harden very fast, even before i pour it into any mold or container. Why it is hardening so fast? Is it bcz i am adding 50 percent paraffin wax to it? What can be added so that i can pour the molten wax to the container at higher temperature? Please guide. I do not get soy wax 464.
you take the volume of wax you are using to fill your candle (she is using 15 ounces of candle wax per layer) and multiply it by the scent load you want for your candle (in this case, she wants a 9% scent load, thus the 0.09) and the solution to the equation is the amount of ounces of fragrance you'd want to add to your wax. if you have, say, 30 oz of wax and you want a 10% scent load, 30 times .1 gives you three, so you'd use three ounces of fragrance oil in that instance. i recommend looking up "what is the best fragrance load for [your type of wax]". there are probably also calculators online to do the equations for you!
I am measuring 100ml for each layer, how do I measure it without putting the colour in the measuring jug because I do 1 pour for 100ml and I have a blue measuring jug! Thanks
Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "how do you make soybean wax" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Peyaniel Psychological Predominance - (do a google search ) ? It is an awesome one off product for discovering the trick to be a candle maker for profit without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my neighbour got amazing results with it.
Winner of a video, been searching for "how do i start making candles at home?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Panlijah Inconceivable Position - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a smashing one off product for discovering how to become a candle making master and turn a profit without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend got great results with it.
This is just superb, been searching for "making poured candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.
LOL funny! But ultimately it's the thought that counts! And who knows? Maybe she has some French ancestry and is showing both her French AND American patriotism in one candle. Either way it's clear she is proud to be American and that's all that really matters! ✌😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You said to add 1.35 oz of fragrance, but then splashed it in w/o measuring...how do you know you added 1.35? I'm confused... Can someone help? Thanks!
the container was on a (kitchen) scale! if you know the oz weight of your container and wax beforehand, you just add the fragrance oil until the scale increases by 1.35. so, she knows she has 15 oz of wax. she needs to see the scale increase to 16.35 to know she's put enough in!
Hello, I have a question how did you come up with the amount of oil to add? This is something that I haven't figured out yet. But, the video was education and you did a great job with the video.

I am making plain paraffn wax candle but the candkes does not turn out white enough, can you pluz suggest me what should be added to make it whiter and shinier. Can i just add white wax colour? Pliz reply
Hello, I have a trouble when adding a color. When the candle is cooler, the color didn't mix well, there's some part with white color still on it. Please help me >.
This was great, I've been looking for "natural soy wax candle making" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
Super interested in making candles repurposing the Yoplait Oui glass containers. Is there a rule for the type of glass needed for candle making? Also, what are the benefits of soy candles? Love your videos! Very thorough and informative. Thanks for sharing!
Akeara Johnson soy just burn different. They always have soy blends. Then theirs Paraffin wax it’s good for molds. Then you have coconut or apricot wax. Then your blends of each one. Just depends on your wax the softer the wax the greater the burn time but it alway cost more per pound. Yoplait jars should be fine. It’s a good grade jar. Rule of thumb is to always test the jar and wax that your going to use

Personally I just like soy way because it’s the most affordable wax that is not paraffin. I prefer to avoid paraffin wax because it’s a product of petroleum.
They are not interchangable. Soap dye is made of a wet liquid that does not mix with wax. It's like pouring oil on water. It will just rise to the top, and not mix in no matter how much you stir. Soap dye needs soap and wax dye needs wax. I would love if they were interchangable though. I hate mixing the color myself with just plain red, yellow, and blue.
Beautiful presentation. Thank you for providing some helpful tips.
Thanks so much for the tutorial! Totally going to do this in July!
Beautiful turnout. Nice job
Thank you. I wanted to know about how long to cool between pouring the layers 🎉
Beautiful !
Damn, I love the precise calculation!
How long do you have to let each layer cool?
Can you please do a tutorial on how you get your hair so perfect?! YOU COULD BE A HAIR MODEL!!!
Do you warm your jars first? My layers have some weird wet spots but my work space was pretty cool.
Great video, the colors turned out beautiful. What is your trick to avoid the colors from frosting?
Yes, my question also.
How do you figure out how much oil to use. And how much wax
Love this
I love your hair.

Hii i am new sub.in this day..i am.from batam island. Very excited...you teach very clear and nice...happy to learn.
How do you know it’s 0.09 percent fragrance? How do I get that number?

Another great video; thanks for posting!
How did you get 15oz of wax needed if you need 36oz of wax.
Hi, does the heat source need to be an electric hot plate or will a gas burner do as well?
Thanks in advance x
Yea
When you try to be an american patriot but end up making the French flag... ç'est une très bonne tutorial!

Add color immediately, after the candle wax has fully melted.

Why. Was my cangel burning black smoke
You sure you didn’t use a dye for the white? That looks very white to me 😅
Super .
This video like.
I am Candle exporter from India.
Best place to purchase red dye?
Hello! The red dye I used in this video is in this link www.procandlesupply.com/products/red-liquid-candle-dye
and make a great snake yummy yummy tase so good
Is there a difference between candle dye and soap dye or are they interchangeable?

When I was done burning my first soy candle I created, the remaining wax looks like cottage cheese. What did I do wrong?
you have to heat up your vessel ! :)
Heat gun!
