Growing up in Los Angeles Mexican food wasn’t accepted, today we have koran and Mexican food. Thank you I work in the south, I need more Asian brothers
@@artielarengano9287 One of the best chefs I’ve met was in his 50’s and came into the culinary career as a 30 year old after an IT career. It’s not to late to chase your dream my friend. Have drive. Have passion. Move forward relentlessly.
This job takes too much sacrifice , long hours a lot of stress and not well paid at all . I have wokred in Michelin star restaurants and the pressure is a lot : and if you want to be a head chef its even harder . You have too give your life for this job .
Get Out! like the movie, don't get hypnotized or brainwashed thinking this is a great career. It's not!! Find something else that you are interested in or can make a living in. Visit, dine and eat in restaurants, but don't ever work in them if you don't have to!
That's the best sharing I've heard about FNB. Never get in unless you absolutely have to. Someone can clock 12 to 16 hour days, miss out on friends and family, wreck their health and sanity. That's the price. Those who absolutely have to are already crazy, have gigantic dreams, great drive and energy. Because the actual slog is unglamorous, hazardous and regarded as grinding work. Better to get that clear now to weed out the wimps.
