I can't really comment on ca b as I have not had any experience with them...but I have heard they are simple to work on...I am not handy engine will se so efi suits me...both are simple bikes and the bonnie engine is quite bulletproof....there is definitely a lovely thrum of the engine with air cooled v low quid cooled...v smooth which ever you go for you will not be disappointed...good luck with your search ...let me know what you get 👍👍👍
Such a cool bike congrats the twin clocks are superb too. I was thinking with the knobly tyers does it feel ok on tarmac/wet etc? And how is the exhaust heat? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks buddy....the knobblies are really good all round...no real vibrations and great in the wet and broken roads....the exhaust heat is fine ...you feel the warmth but it does not burn you..I've just done a 300 mile trip and no heat issue at all 👍
Beautiful Scrambler and I'm diggin all the mods! Congrats! Would you care to share your handlebar dimensions (even roughly)? I own a 2014 T100 (Bonneville) and been trying to find a 1" handlebar like the Scrambler one but can really find the dimensions. :( Width=? Height=? Drag=? Thanks!
Thanks buddy...the seat is from motone customs based in the UK...it's called the krait seat.you can get it in black, tobacco brown or a light brown....costs £269 .....hope you are loving your scrambler as much as me 👍👍
I had one few years back, Modified a lot just like yours, it was great, But the tank range was crap, the standard suspension was crap, The front brake was not up to the job after the mods and tuning, it's bloody heavy, and it leans over on the stand like a drunk at a bar! And when the weather gets really hot, it complains a bit, and the heat from the engine is intense, if it was 28 degrees or more I would leave it in the Garage, But the looks and sound with a zard exhaust made up for all of that.
😆....I totally agree with your comments....I have changed my suspension and brakes so all good....but the weight can be an issue...but I love the way the bike looks and sounds 👍
A difference you don't mention is the new models have far better fuel consumption ... my Street Scram ( latest model ) was very noticeably more economical than my old air cooled Bonny. .. running so lean for emission regs has it's advantages!
Thanks so much for a real world video! Keen on an air cooled one! Thanks
Thanks for the info! Any thoughts on carb vs efi air-cooled models (

Air cooled back in the day for sure, but with traffic congestion and slow crawling motorway traffic, water cooled is a must.
That's a good point...at least on 2 wheels you can filter 👍👍
Very cool.
Thanks buddy

What seat do you have on it? I also have a air cooled scrambler! Like the mods looks clean!

Yes they are....very good all round.
Any electronic issues ?
None as there are no electronics 😊.....all good 👍
What's the mileage on it?
I have it just under 7000....had 4 when I bought it
@@Aircooled865 No..I mean range Kmpl or mpg... does it give good range?
Betwwen 130 to 150 miles on a tank of fuel...average...depends how you ride it
If you want good mileage get a cg125 ffs.

Yeah....that's a fair point buddy....I do fill up quite regularly for short trips....long tours however I think it's ok 👍
I've watched a few of your vids on the honda cl500....I was thinking about getting one ...how is it?
