It's my dream bike... A 5 year challenge, I believe I will have it, love it
What a great looking bike.. My next bike.
Very nice. I've got a black 1200 XC which is fab, but planning to get serious with the mods over winter, so some great inspiration here thanks.
"Deus" is pronounced Day-us Ex Mak-in-ah
Exhaust is fitted incorrectly. Still.
People buy modern bikes and make them more retro. People buy old bikes and make them... Modern. Mmmm, I'm loving it!
How are ads running on this video? It has less than 200 views and so is the subscriber count so what's happening here?
Looks good, I've put some brass on my scrambler Where did you get the brass bar ends from are they from Motone they look like the Roswell oil cap?
@@richardmarshall1306 thanks buddy....bar end caps are motone...Gemini end caps....not a fit for my bike bit with a little improvise. Adapt and overcome mentality I got them on the bike...I am v pleased 👍👍
Nice looking set, I have a very similar bike, I’d love to have a closer look at this could you please post a link? And what additional side rail did you add to the bike? Great videos, many thanks.
Hiya great video. Love the mods I've looked everywhere on line to buy the handle bar pad in black like yours the brace is already on the bars just want the pad where did you get yours from cheers mick .uk
@@michaelcoates7068 thanks bud...bought mine off ebay
Yeh had a look no one seems to do them apart from a place in Europe somewhere that is charging a fortune for delivery I know triumph aren't selling many accessories these days for my 2014 but would have thought after market stuff would be freely available on ebay .thanks for your help yours mick c
Hey cool bike but doesn't the heat affect driving
@@Kingkhan-qk2vk no issues with heat...yes bikes get warm but nothing unusual
Why not the evotech led sequential turn signals for the trident?
Hi Did you manage to put the other side on? Was going to order them but was waiting to see how the other side fitted. Thanks
Hi bud sorry for late reply.....I dry fitted the other side but as I have the motone clutch cover on the cover had clearance issues...it would fit fine without ..but I like the motone part so it is staying on...so I won't be fitting the other side
I visited Goring back in 2018 with my wife. She is a huge George Michael fan. We came over from Melbourne, Australia. Such a beautiful place!
I prefer the older simpler air cooled bikes. I have a T100 easy to customise but Motone is an addiction 😅
@@leehenty3777 totally agree...I've spent a fortune on motone 👍😁
Confused on the tire choice. Sure it looks great, but you put a rally offroad tire on a road bike that you will never utilize what it's made for.
@@RyanHicks hi bud ...well it's a scrambler so I gave it scrambler tyres ...I do a bit of green laning fire roads etc ...nothing technical ...and also the state of the roads in the UK are abysmal...so helps with that.....also looks...has a great aesthetic ....and they are great on the road too....no issues 👍
I watched the video completely, it was spooky though❤
@@8nm842 it was scary 😬
This is the same bike from @scrambler of lindon
Very cool bike. What year is your scrambler?
@@rapstarD thanks mate.. appreciate the comments...it is a 2015 air-cooled bonnie 👍

When you install the voight bar risers do you need to change the stock cables?
@@vijaysubramaniam670 no need to change the stock cables 👍
Thank you
Thanks so much for a real world video! Keen on an air cooled one! Thanks
Not actual cooling finned covers? So kind of like hub caps then? Won't you scratch up the case with crud getting in there between the case and the cover?
@@7un05 ...yeah that's why I will see how they do over a British winter....can be easily removed so not worried 👍
Great review and information. About to get mine in a couple of weeks, but £5.7k with a 1000 miles. You got a complete bargain!! Cheers
Which seat is that ? I didn't understand I'm sorry. That's a very good looking bike tho you did a great job ;) It would be cool to have a detailed list of every mods
@@zeph5800 seat is from motone customs ...it is called the krait seat 👍
@@Aircooled865 Damn that was a fast answer, thanks a lot my dude ! 👌

Hello, where did you get the oiler cooler guard from?
On eBay buddy...there are loads ...just type your bike in👍
Love it. Where can I get the engine covers please.
@@jamiebellsham7377 hi buddy....covers are from kspeed Japan website based in Thailand...you get both sides and a chain sprocket cover so 3 in all sold as a set .you cannot buy individually....cost £169 including shipping....pricey for what they are...but decent quality.....they are taped on ....but I had to use extra tape in a few places...the fit is decent but not perfect.....as I said in video....I will monitor them over time...seem to be sturdy...so far so good....see what happens in winter👍
Thank you. Looks so good with them on.
@@jamiebellsham7377 no worries bud 👍
@Aircooled865 very tempted to gets these, just been on there website. You say the fitment isn't that great. How is the fitment on the other side? Have you any close up pics.
@@jamiebellsham7377just done a follow up vid mate...hope it answers your questions👍
Glaubt eigentlich jemand der mir hier Werbung aufzwingt, dass ich bei dem Irgendetwas kaufe? Sicher nicht! Unglaublich diese Belästigung
Nobody is forcing anything on you... This vid is for general interest to people looking to do mods to their triumph....get a bloody grip....if you don't like ....don't watch!!
Can you explain the booster plug and where you got it? May seem like a dumb question, but im learning what i can before i snag a scrambler myself
@@Wesleycreardon .....go on tech bike parts website...they do like ads of stuff for triumphs...there is a detailed summary of what the booster plug does.....too much for me to text here👍
I know this is an old video, but where did you get the bracket to replace the pasenger foot pegs?
@@nogodk ...hi buddy it's a company called endscuio....they do bags and brackets for all sorts of bikes you can find them online....the bag comes with a mounting bracket.👍
Nice configuration! Mine is almost the same, can I ask you what luggages and straps do u use for the saddle bag? Does the air deflectr really helps?
Hi buddy....the saddle bag is mounted to a motone pannier rail...I drilled two holes and bolted it to the frame utilising the throw over strap which is part of the bag as they come in a pair as throw over bags ...on the back of the bag there are molle webbing and a velcro strap to since it down which I have done....the windshield deflects a bit of wind but not much ...it's on Purley for looks 👍
Love the exhaust mate, they are pretty rare nowdays. Looking one for my SS 2019 here in Brazil
Nice one !
Well sorted
Love the scrambler look, cool
Very interesting discussion of your bike and it’s mods. I like what you’ve done with it. I recently (May 2024) purchased a new Triumph Scrambler 1200xe here in Dallas, TX, USA. It’s been a slow, tedious process to get all the Triumph accessories for the bike. This weekend I took the Scrambler up to the dealership to get some parts installed. They had the saddle bag, but, the key tumbler was wrong one, so it’s on back order. They showed me the left side saddle bag, but it looked nothing like the one in this video. Is your saddle bag an after-market addition? I really like the look of it. A couple of weeks ago they asked me to bring the Scrambler in for some factory work, at no charge. They loaned me a Scrambler 900 for the day. I really enjoyed riding it, but it was too small in size for me. That 900cc engine is really robust, though. While I was there at the dealership this weekend they loaned me a Triumph Tiger 900 for a test ride. I loved everything about it, and am currently trying to figure out how to justify purchasing it. I may have to let go of the Scrambler 1200xe.
Thanks for your kind words..for me the 900 engine in the Bonneville line up is the sweet spot....I do like the scrambler 1200 and may upgrade in the future.the bag is from burly brand in the US.they do a whole range in the same style which I have ...suits me bike perfectly...I am thinking of going adventure bike in the future and the triumph tiger is on my shortlist....good luck with your decision 👍
Great lookin bike mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Love your video beautiful bike I have white & red 2007 model where did you get your side bag ? Also how did you make headlight yellow is it the color or film you have used thanks
Thanks for your kind words buddy...I spent alot of time making the bike my own .....the bag is burly brand voyager range ...I have a couple of videos on my Chanel about the bag and others in the range...check it out 👍...I used a yellow vinyl film on the headlight 👍
A difference you don't mention is the new models have far better fuel consumption ... my Street Scram ( latest model ) was very noticeably more economical than my old air cooled Bonny. .. running so lean for emission regs has it's advantages!
Yeah....that's a fair point buddy....I do fill up quite regularly for short trips....long tours however I think it's ok 👍
I've watched a few of your vids on the honda cl500....I was thinking about getting one ...how is it?
I own a 750a and I am happy with it definitely not a fast cruiser but not slow either
I had one few years back, Modified a lot just like yours, it was great, But the tank range was crap, the standard suspension was crap, The front brake was not up to the job after the mods and tuning, it's bloody heavy, and it leans over on the stand like a drunk at a bar! And when the weather gets really hot, it complains a bit, and the heat from the engine is intense, if it was 28 degrees or more I would leave it in the Garage, But the looks and sound with a zard exhaust made up for all of that.
😆....I totally agree with your comments....I have changed my suspension and brakes so all good....but the weight can be an issue...but I love the way the bike looks and sounds 👍
Air cooled back in the day for sure, but with traffic congestion and slow crawling motorway traffic, water cooled is a must.
That's a good point...at least on 2 wheels you can filter 👍👍
One needs a climate like England for an air-cooled British bike. Back in the day, my Commando 850 thrived in Seattle. Here in Hawaii, today, water cooling is required. A 99 Thunderbird Sport fits the bill. Aloha and thank you for your content.
cool vid, tnx
Thanks bud👍
Very cool.
Thanks buddy
Yo man nice bike, but you can see some smoke coming out the engine is that normal?
Thanks bud ...that is just moisture evaporating off the exhaust wraps buddy as I had just washed the bike... perfectly normal 👍
Very tastefully done
Thanks bud ...few extra black out mods done...checkout my latest vids 👍
Is the black plate legal? Didn’t think they were allowed on newer bikes
Totally illegal 😉
Any electronic issues ?
None as there are no electronics 😊.....all good 👍
