The 'blah blah blah' bit has a meaning. The actor who played Dracula in rhe classic movie was of Hungarian origin and spoke with a strong accent, so not everyone could understand him (particularly he pronounced 'blood' as 'bluhd'). There will also be a hint of him in the second movie (no spoilers!)
The little detail in this movie is amazing, that secret tunnel scene is a perfect detail. Like he said minutes prior he made this hotel to protect them from humans. As if it was his wife dying, he wanted to make sure that every one of his guest had a secret escape route IF the humans were to actually attack
I think that the first one was beautiful, the second is the funniest one, the third was cool, except for the dancing battle. Let's hope the 4th one is good.
Traditional vampires (dracula) had alot of abilities. He could walk on walls/ceilings, mind control, speed, shape shift, erase short term memories, seduce, suggestive manipulation, British children and a large rate ect. But of course now they, add and take away things for flair or to accommodate the story.
I came to make this exact comment xD He could also change sizes which is my favourite riddiculous thing (he never did turn into a bat tho), control the actual weather and animals. Fun fact - he did not wear a cape in the book. The first popular vampire with a cape was from a gem called "Varney the Vampire or the Feast of Blood" and his superpower included being revived when touched by moonlight.
This movie is a CLASSIC! and i hate when people shut it down for being an Adam Sandler comedy so they just expect it to be bad. But, this film does something interesting by taking a character we all know and putting a spin on it, creative visuals, brilliant jokes and an exaggerated animation style that anyone can love.
these movies are actually a really advanced feat in animation because of how well they emulated the squash and stretch look of 2d cartoons. they had specially made rigs designed to make wild and wacky poses and such and would manually go in and sculpt the rigs themselves by hand to improve the exaggeration even more, vs pixars realistic but subdued animations. so there was definitely a lot of love and dedication put into these films! theres the info without any reference to the post thats not on youtube so hopefully it stays up this time!

Honestly, I like to pretend that they only made one “Hotel Transylvania” movie and the sequels don’t exist. I’m sorry but the sequels just keep on getting sillier and sillier, NOT in a good way. That has actually became a common issue with modern sequels of beloved originals. I have no issue with anyone who do like the sequels but I just think some of them have lost their depth and nostalgia.
Idk I think HT2 was good. I haven’t seen anything after that but I think those two are pretty good. I imagine the rest are kinda dumb since the premise for 3 didn’t sound promising
@@ma.2089 Ok, the HT2 was ok in my opinion, ur right. And I admit that the sequels did make me chuckle sometimes but they just lost that old nostalgic magic and depth that made it so good in the first place. Like I said, the issue with modern sequels is that they stray far from their original morals and depth which make them both boring and silly. (Ice Age, the Croods, etc.) and the worst part is that those movies profit from their lack of depth and the increase of unnecessary humour.
@@overthinker9616 i cant remember if it was 2 or 3 but one of them i liked because it subverted the, imo, harmful idea that we can only 'zing' once. kids should be able to see and learn that love can be found in more than 1 person if it doesnt work out/they lose the 1st person they fall in love with, and that it doesn't make you a bad person to move on and be happy.
@@ashleyjohnson9651 yeah, that was the third one. Ok, I agree, some of them have actually really deep messages for the kids. But it’s often overloaded, as I mentioned, with unnecessary humour or goofy ness. I’m not saying that they are the worst or just bad but I did prefer the originals because of the roughness of the animation, the story had depth and the occasional jokes or humour were most memorable. I know they are cartoons and they are supposed to be silly, but I don’t like when there is too much silliness. Again, I have no issue with anyone who do like the movies, it’s just my own perspective.

hotel transylvania 1 its my favorite movie, favorite animation, favorite history. i loved the sequels and new movie too, but the first one has no comparation.
Answering your question about vampire's powers, welp, that depends on the source. Most, however, came from Cont Vlad III (or Vlad Draculea, which means "son of the dragon) who fought against the Sarasenic invasion during the 15th century. Using multiple tricks, from coping his enemies execution methods (impaling in special) to the usage of underground secret tunnels to move between castles (also night strikes). Such created the very basis of the vampire powers. Now, if you'd like to expand on that, I recommend "Vampire, the Masquerade" - 1st, 2nd and (maybe) 3rd edition.
