- Having trouble removing a phone from google account? Here's the process on how to do it.
If you are wanting to remove this from "find my device" then follow these steps and it should work. The devices will eventually sync in the google server backend after awhile and you will no longer see them.
If you're a parent trying to remove a device from your child's account for family link, go here:

Hey, I have searched and searched and cannot find how to update my child's phone on family link. She can't log in to her Gmail or Google account or anything because the family account says no. But I can't add her new phone on family link from my end. I can't find a video anywhere to explain this so she can't use her phone at all.
Try this: support.google.com/families/contact/chat_new
Or email them:
support.google.com/families/contact/email_new
If you need to recover an email address then google support should be able to help with that.
Basically, if it's a supervised account, it means it belongs to you. It would be the same as forgetting your email/password for your own account.
If you have access to your own account, you may want to disable advanced protection temporarily to see if that helps.
Also, when it comes to login issues, I find that turning off 2FA (multifactor authentication) helps as sometimes that is the issue.
Let me know how you go and if support was able to help you too.
