You are the best bro, ive had this issue for days. Tryna find some sort of special setting to fix my camera, uninstalling the app, clearing cache etc.. However I noticed that when i used messenger it worked fine. And i found nothing on the internet regarding this issue until now so thank you for confirming it is a discord problem and not my phone.
Thanks m8, it helps a lot to know that this is a recent and on-going bug. What's happened is that the app is trying to automatically mirror left-to-right, but apparently it confuses it with up-down and thinks your device is in the portrait orientation when it's in lanscape. You'll notice that it doesn't flip in portrait mode at all, but in lanscape it's always upside-down. This is therefore intentional, but in in some devices the sensor axes for up-down and left-right seem to be switched around, hence this bug.
Yeh and honestly I think the easiest fix is just to implement a function where the user can change which way the camera rotation sits. This way, you can just simply rotate the video to the direction you desire.
Discord has fixed the issue with the latest patch! Update your discord to fix it.
