Donna Noble is an inspiration to every 30-something struggling to figure out where they're going in life, not having much luck in the love or career department, and feeling ashamed and small and unimportant and like they're a great big failure as a result.
That's why I love her so much. Because she's not some semi-immortal being spread across the Doctor's timeline or an immortal Captain or a special chosen one tied to saving the world via a rift in time and space. She's just... Donna. Unemployed, single, perpetually undervalued, kind and strong-hearted Donna, who yells, because noone ever listens to her, and keeps trying, even when she doesn't believe she'll succeed. And she's important, just as she is. She's a hero, just as she is.
I'm going to go wipe my eyes and blow my nose now, because Donna's message always hits me too close to home. I'm so glad we got her back, and I'm so glad she got the ending she deserved.
She was the most normal person in this series - normal problems - normal lilfe - she´s amazing.

Well said! It's not just 30-somethings but anyone who has ever felt or experienced feeling that way. To me, Donna is the most relatable of all the companions because she is so ordinary she's extraordinary and that is why her story was so heartbreaking... until now at least. With the Doctor's help and encouragement, she figured out who she really was not only that but how capable and smart she was. Even with his help, she constantly battled with self-doubt because of what she'd been told and believed about herself her whole life. All that growth and potential torn away from her... her fear of going back to how she was and then seeing / knowing how heartbroken the Doctor was when he had to wipe her memory. I was an emotional wreck for days afterwards. And then seeing the effect her absence had on the Doctor just drove it home even more.
And now we have 3 more episodes of the Doctor and Donna. 😁 They're the same but of course different since time has passed and so much has happened in both their lives. It was sooo good to see them together again!! And then for them both to have a happy ending... and together... was just the best ever!!!

I never caught the parallel of Doctor Moon's "And then you forgot" with the Doctor's memory wipe in Journey's End. It's especially heartbreaking since the original intention of Doctor Moon was to be the upload of the final incarnation of the Doctor, who's able to keep his best friend safe and spend eternity digitally with the upload of his wife.
You should add the “Who frowned me this face?” lines from 12. Donna was also the reason that 12th existed. It was a reminder of her and who she knew the Doctor to be: the man that saves people. Would be a nice little tie-in. 😉

After so many year, I can feel the horrific heartbreak left Donna's end finally heal. And that's what I'm always hearing people say: healing. Giving them closure is just... ugh, pure light. And with that, your incredible storytelling and montage do it 1000% justice!! The important bits, the aching lack of self-worth, but the brilliance! The kindness! Ugh, this is incredible. Thank you for doing that, I can't imagine how hard that work was, but I'm grateful so so much that you did it. ❤
Donna’s storyline became one of the best for me. She’s got to meet Doctor so many times, somehow with the same face, but also, how beautifully it is to have the 12th Doctor being an echo of her storyline. She is the most important woman in the whole universe. My lovely Doctor Donna.

I cried more than once watching this video. Absolutely fabulous. Fourteen's ending with Donna was one of the most satisfying of the entire series. What a wonderful, touching tribute to one of the greatest companions ever.

All this time Ten was looking for somewhere he belonged and I knew it was with the Nobles. It was always the Nobles, that's why he lost it when he lost them. When he wiped out Donna's memory and regenerated by himself, I was devastated. I just got to see the 60th anniversary and I can't believe I actually cried tears of joy. Happy tears. Never in a billion years would have I dared to imagine an ending like the one we got. Ten finally found peace with the Noble family, and Donna got back to her full potential. Ten, the Doctor the most human of them all who dreamt of a normal life, got to stay among the most human, the most normal family ever. Ten & Donna make each other whole in a way that's beyond love as we hear it. They're part of the same soul and were so beautifully written. And to have them reunited and live their life together is just the most incredible present RTD could have given us. And I discovered the show at the beginning of the year, can't imagine what it must like getting this after 15 years. Doctor Donna gets to live, be happy and never be lost again 💙

No other companion's story is able to make me cry and my heart ache except for Donna Noble
I absolutely hated her in Runaway Bride and when they announced her as a full time companion I almost stopped watching. I'm glad I didn't because she evolved to become the best companion of the revival series.
I felt that way at first as well, grew to love her. But it’s hard to get used to change at first. I almost stopped when Matt smith was the doctor and I am glad I didn’t cause I thought he did amazing.
