These longer vids are therapeutic listening to the Quran in the background and reading Hadith’s on the screen along with the beautiful editing and cameras I would definitely want my kids to grow up watching this and see the friends they should surround themselves with.

Abutorab has vast knowledge, only Allah blessed people like you and Zaid and many others but I respect how your knowledge is not only for wordly dunya like medicine (can be argued to be for also akhirah) but you are the most practicing and knowledgeable brothers even when it comes to deen, doing all of those books is not easy.

Ramadan Mubarak is the correct thing to say, do not say Ramadan Kareem, no evidence for this, rather say Ramadan mubarak just like Eid mUbarak
Can someone please give me references that explain hadith qudsi, if its from Allah then why is it a Hadith and not part of the Quran, sorry very ignorant question lol

*Disclaimer* this is my own personal advice.
If you’re struggling with salah, start with making a sincere intention to do better and then make dua to Allah. Whenever it’s time for Salah don’t think about it, just get up and go from there. I find that it’s easier to fall for shaytan’s trap when you sit and ponder on praying so just get up make wudu and don’t think too much. Also remember death as you never know when your time will come. May Allah grant you ease and success!

is 40 lectures behind normal for a medical student.
40 is too much, 20 is more normal but abutorab is really busy, he literally has a full business, studies islam whole day, goes gym, does vlogs every week and has much more commitment like family and other things which he doesnt even show in the videos
40 is like 40 hours behind minimum and considering exams are in june or something, then it is very behind but Allah can help anyone anytime He wishes so just make dua

Brother if you’re going to study ‘Aqeedah as I see you’re doing, I highly recommend you to read the prevalent ‘Aqa’ids in great detail because ‘Aqeedah is the difference between being amongst Ahlul Sunnah, Ahluk Bid’ah or even Ahlul Kuffar. Don’t just hop on this band-wagon of becoming Wahhabi InShaAllah.
aqeedah the right one is athari aqeedah the only one, the scholars have interpreted it this way, do not listen to others like ashair and maturidi, they have been refuted many times

Brother I noticed in some vids (not this one tho) that during the Quran recitation the madd isn't done properly as sometimes the tone goes up and down in the madd (it's supposed to be only one continuous sound). Sheikh Yahya Raaby also makes this mistake and I think if you are in touch with him again, he could be advised on this since he is extremely well-known. It's a common mistake in recitation but it is incorrect because it is as if you are adding extra letters & changing the Quran. Barak Allah feek. Edit: My comment is mainly for Sh Yahya Raaby's recitation and for older vids, not this one. Allahumma barik I enjoyed the recitation from this vid, although it was short.

@@la_illaha_ill_allah akhi, you need to learn the ahkam of madd- there are different types of madd with different elongation. You need to learn the rules of tajweed in more depth with a teacher May allah bless you
@@1mohammadomarI did learn the different types of madd, their different places, and the different lengths. But that isn't the point of my comment here. When prolonging the madd, it should be one continuous sound. We mustn't go up and down and up and down during the madd as this is as if you are as adding on extra letters. If you watch the video akhi that I linked, it explains it better. Barak Allah feek.
@@1mohammadomar I should clarify that my comment was for recitations I have heard in general, from both brother AbuTorab and Shiekh Yahya Raaby, not specifically the recitation in this video. I edited my original comment to make this more clear. I actually loved the short recitation in this vid. But, if you listen to how Sh Yahya recites surah Alfatiha, you should see what I mean with the mistake in the madd.
Also, just to add the comment was constructive criticism but in no way an insult. Abu Torab and Sh Yahya Raaby are obviously much better than me in many ways, including in hifz. But when we see something that needs improving in a fellow Muslim, we should mention it. It isn't wrong and we are giving constructive feedback for the sake of Allah first and secondly for love of these brothers. Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “May Allah have mercy on the one who shows me my faults.”
