Thanks for showing how to cut the spindle with the jig saw for a bread board! I've been wanting to make some like that but i thought I needed a table saw to do it. Also thanks so much for explaining how to cut a wood bowl with a jig saw. I was going to try it with the mitre saw but jig saw may be easier. Love your projects! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. And thank you for not trying to cut the bowl with a miter saw! When you make your cut with a jigsaw, just make sure that it is tight to the guard so that your blade won't bounce. I'm sure you know this. I'd love to see what you come up with!

I'm right there with ya I love the bins! I source nearly all of my project pieces from the bins, and get a lot of supplies as well....I go probably twice a week and every time i go I find something I can upcycle or use on a project. :-)
Yes. Sometimes I need to ground myself from the bins.

Just subscribed to tour channel. I live those cutting/bread boards. I have wanted to make some like yours for a while but needed the jig saw. So guess what I got for Mothers Day? Lol. Yes! I love your creativity! and I really appreciate learning how to make spindle handles. But the best thing I learned is that I can use the putty for moulds. I have a huge can of that will definitely be trying it. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yeah, the first time I tried the water putty in the molds I didn't have the patience to let it sit. But now that I'm older and wiser than I was last year I have more patience. Hahaha

Do you have a video that explains the "water slide" transfer in more detail? I've never seen this method and I'm confused because you mention that you print it on your printer, but you also mentioned mod podge layers and purchasing the print. Thank you for your patriotism! It's such a shame that it has become something we have to apologize for!!!😢
Watch the guitar makeover video that will help you understand the water slide process more. When I use mod podge with water slide paper it is not the decoupage medium. It is acrylic sealer. It comes in an aerosol can. There are other brands of this particular product but I prefer the mod podge brand. Thank you for your encouragement! And yes, patriotism is not something we should have to apologize for. Have a great day. And next time I do a water slide project I will be sure to be more explanatory.
I get my graphics from creative fabrica and there will always be a link in the description box for you. So generally when I'm using water slide paper unless it is my own artwork or otherwise stated, it will most likely be from creative fabrica. They are digital downloads.

I mentioned that I used Durham's water putty in silicone molds. I mixed it up so that it was a little thicker than pancake batter and poured it into my molds.
What's the name of that wood putty you were talking about??? I am definitely gonna get some and play with it in some silicone molds I have!
