There are other air combos, it's not just triangle all the way you can triangle then press square, x, or circle multiple times and I'm happy you got a win with my boi Dragunov. He's killer. Arcade quest and replay are also great to teach it's not just practice because they're interactive and more fun.
You can either use your rage art, or withhold from using it to give yourself a damage boost. If you're very far behind in health, it is much better to utilize the damage boost to slowly chip them down rather than go for a full commit rage art that might only drop their health by 30%. Use the damage boost to drop their health to a point where a rage art will end them.

Honestly surprised that Afro hasn't tried to pick up Lars since he was a collab character in Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Ngl if Afro mained him that would go hard as hell
Underrated point.
He would not understand how to use DEN, SEN & LEN and call Lars bad and slow when he finally got buffed
please stream too, ur content is so entertaining man.
Ngl agreeing to a money match is crazy like bro this my first tekken too and i have been in the lab learning and im still ass
How are you liking Tekken 8 so far?
@@KingSprint Surprisingly im actually really enjoying since i come from smash i decided to main kazuya and learning a char is so much harder than mk or sf bcz there’s so many moves but it feels so rewarding to hit combos in this game bcz they require so much skill i can def see myself playing this even after dlcs come out
@@Poser9000 Glad you’re enjoying the game and honestly I feel that. Even though I’ve dabbled in Tekken here and there for years I’m no pro. So hitting the lab is definitely going to be crucial. Also nice that’s what’s up, hope you keep on improving not to mention getting wins too.
>Special style
special style is kinda hurting him more than just blindly playing ranked. Its just encouraging his button mashing
I'm calling it, next vid is gonna be titled: Tekken 8 is a good game or Tekken 8 Ranked is great
Or "Tekken 8 ranked is a joke..."😂😂
"tekken tutorial is great"
I’m also new to tekken trying to learn (and stream a wee bit of the experience) but I would honestly try the combo challenges there pretty easy once you get a hang of the controls
Afro you are a grown man, the goal is to get decent but there is no set path to take. Change your approach to learning the game
Is this man using auto combos AND GASSING HIMSELF UP?!
Anytime I rank against someone using Special Style, I try to absolutely demoralize them and make them delete the game. ❤
💯💯🤣🤣
Good 😊
Keep doing that
I have a grudge against special style
Who hurt you?
Pick one character and go through arcade quest and lab through that and you will start being more applicable in rank matches
Bro is suffering but it’s gonna be so invigorating when he gets through it
You haven't been here long huh?😂
Gotta Keep The Cam On!!! Your Live Reactions Are Top Tier!!!!
Love me some consistency ❤
Pick up Jin, Kazuya, Asuka, if you like hard hitting strategic and fast characters, raven is fast and flashy and if played correctly you could do some really cool mix ups, and damaging punishes if your opponents take the bait, Lars and Lili are also like that but are more high flying/flashy tricksters, more for intermediate and advanced players. Pick your poison as to what kind of player/fighter you would like to play as and get in the lab and master their moves and combos, you’ll eventually will get back to back dubs. I’m rooting for you Afro! And I’m loving the game play, can’t wait to see you master it
The consistent ass-ery🙏🏾. No one does it like Afro
It's fucking peak fr
Afro nothing but love next video need to be basic controls
Have played around 30 matches in ranked so far, and haven't yet ran into anybody using specialty mode. Using specialty mode to get through single player content is fine and all, but actually using it for online is kind of embarrassing. I'm not trying to be rude about it or anything...
Got demolished by a special style king on ranked but other than that I haven't seen any
special style green rank+ will get blown up anyways
There are other air combos, it's not just triangle all the way you can triangle then press square, x, or circle multiple times and I'm happy you got a win with my boi Dragunov. He's killer. Arcade quest and replay are also great to teach it's not just practice because they're interactive and more fun.
I'm enjoying this series
The Korean “Backshuffle” got me 16:25
As a King main here’s a VERY good tip, learn the moves that out range grabs. It pisses us off😂
As a yoshimitsu main I can confirm. Up back + 1 2 is a kings worst nightmare
We all know he's going to break that promise right.
I'd advise you reduce with using the assisted controls you're missing out on a lot moves from the characters
And a whole lot of combos
Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash looks to be more of your speed little man 🤓☝️
😂😂 insane disrespect
The faster move in Tekken is the punch go in front of your enemy and press with this love and when he attacks You do los punch for stop his movies.
"KOREAN BACK SHUFFLE"
*but he charges forward*
😭😭😭😭😭
I vote for keeping your face on screen, it adds to the humor to watch your face after you lose a round 😂
AFRO BEATING THE ALLOCATIONS WITH THESE CONSISTENT UPLOADS IM LOVING THE TEKKEN ENERGY! I love the face cam I'ma be so honest that energy you be having is amazing I need the visuals dog it's next level!
Tbh characters have so many moves that discovering them all via raw gameplay is not viable
J Cole said: “Pride is the devillll, I think it got a hold on me” and I just think that really applies in this situation 😂💀
And GET OFF SPECIALTY MODE
Gotta disable that assist mode. Its going to make you plateau mad early
Training will get you 15+ wins in a row. I never understood why people are so against training in this game it literally doesn’t make sense 😭, but hey to each his own.
Leroy + AfroSenju + Practice - Special Style Moves = Wing Chun master!! 🥋🥊
Rough time to be Afro’s neighbours, my thoughts and prayers 😂
I love matching up against folks who use the assisted moves, all those negative frames you’ll never get far
I get they wanted to add special style to make things easier and more accessible but my god it's such a noob trap. It's like going through life not being able to use both your hands at the same time
Funny enough it's a fun way to trick players into thinking you're using special styles then before you attack you hide the menu so it catches them off guard.
Feels dumb for sure though for having a option that's showable during rank matches
Best way to block is to not move back or anything because when you do you get a different attack
Afro the type of dude that tries to ice skate uphill just to prove he can. No advice can help someone who WON'T listen.
