This scanning tool works good, have been using 1 for about 2 years, it does however seem to not like certain older vehicles, which hopefully will be fixed with future updates, they do give updates to the core scanning directory and you can choose which ones you want to download. It automatically save the vehicles that you have previously used it on, for quick reference if you are away from the vehicle you used it on and want to go back through later to see what codes came up
I just got this model today. I like it. That said, defiantly need to get the subscription or individual services to unlock the units full power. In your opinion, purchase individual packages or annual subscription? Any disadvantages or advantages to them?
@@griggs3d I would buy the ones for the vehicles that you own if you think that you are going to get the maximum value for them, if you don't, then i wouldn't, but they definitely allow you to do more functions and better system analysis, I personally have almost every added package for most popular vehicles found in America. But this is just me, I use mine for mobile work. For a diyer it's really up to how much use you think that you will get out of it then decide if you will get the full value of the software upgrade or full function unlock.
These Launch scanners are cool. I have the Launch X431 CRP909X and it has 28 system resets alone and countless other features. I use it more than my Matco 😂.
I have one. I like it. Question: do any of you know if this capable of relearn a transmisión? I I just replaced a 2014 pathfinder one. I’m not sure to do this on my own or let the dealership do it .. Thanks in advance.
@@FluffyMexicanik Just did jeep tune up today & 1234-YF service AC system. Doing Yukon ABS system rebuild with new brake line & both rear calipers. Got GM engine tomorrow for oil leak and another GM for oil psi control solenoid. I keep busy FM 😉👍 $$$$

Its only worth it if you plan to do all the extra functions...or hell purchase those when you actually need it cause i tell you what...the 40$ price is a lot cheaper than getting charged 1 hr for diag lol

Depending on the vehicle it may not have a low side sensor...normally ive only seen vehixles equipped with a high side pressure sensor and that sent is a safety cut off for the compressor to where if the high side is too low it know the vehicle is low on refridgerant and may cause damage and also if its too high could cause some other issues
Someone can tell me why the 123x doesn't clear a airbag code???? It says clear, but the airbag still there flasshing!!!!! Why?? Please tell me before I send it back to amazon...
Because your error is still there. Airbag error will never be cleare since is an permanent error. Repair it and after you will probably be able to clear the error
here is my gripe with these readers....they say 3 free resets or something along the line...do you get to keep thouse reset features FOR THE LIFE OF THE TOOL? or will i need to purchase them again after a year....
No when it comes with those resets thats built into the tool, all the extras that you decide to purchase is different and yearly...i have nissan at $40/yr
If you purchase the subscription for hyundai man it turns this tools into a beast, i did that with nissan and programmed keys faster with this than our manufacture scanner/software
This device advertises misleading spec on 16gb ROM. Actual size is less than 12gb. Go to settings and select storage and it will show the real storage size.

FM, could you do a video using the auto bleed function? I need to be schooled on that process. Maybe even the key programming?
