Thank you for posting this video. I have had my MK808S for 9 months and with 3 vehicles to maintain, it has come in quite handy in my DIY endeavors. I did not know about the search function in the Live Data screens...Did not see that listed in the user manual and I had been wishing for such a function, so thank you for pointing it out! That will save me a lot of scrolling when looking for specific PID's to monitor.
I have been impressed with the frequency of the software updates Autel provides, both for the tool itself and for the various auto manufacturers as they enhance support for existing models and add support for new models.
    Cheers!

Maybe it's different across the pond but the Xtool D8S is only about $50 more and it has topology, by far the most affordable scanner to have it. Unless there are specific functions for specific cars/brands that I can confirm the Autel can do that the Xtool can't that's probably the one I'm going with when I get one.

I would say, most of the tools nowdays can do all of this basic things, live data, active test, service resets etc, which are enough for most diy-ers,but if u are looking to go more deep, special functions are the things that separate pro tool from diy tool, but ofcourse then yearly subs are going from here 125$ to 500$-1000$ rougly.

@@estrikadev9554 I do not have xtool but autel is missing more than half of the staff it advertises. On my scan i have about 6-8 special functions. Great, right? Well but if you go to a specific model all of the sudden your function are down to only 2. I do no know about other scanners but autel really walking the tight rope on false advertisement. Autel's "free life time" updates is nothing but a few bug fixes ! If you assumed that updates will include at least basic code reading ability for new models, you will be severally disappointed.

This little unit looks great 👍 ive got an old autel DS708 i still use for some of the older cars i deal with but like the look of this one . The park brake apply switch fault could be the little contact switch that puts the hand brake warning light on in the cluster so it might be applicable even with a manual hand brake 👍👍
