I bought the 20th Edition new in 1975. Still has a tattered dust cover, which is sub-titled "The Bible of the Mechanical Industries". If that armageddon/nuclear war thing ever happens, Machinery's Handbook will be about the most valuable relic of the previous age! It will never be obsolete.
where's the section on feeds and speeds for carbide tooling? what about articles on 9-axis G-code programming? They keep mentioning something about a hardringe and a brideport in these books....where is the knee on my Okuma HMC?
