There must be a thousand ways to say Thank You; THANK YOU!!!!!. I've nearly finished my first ByAnnie bag, "Easy Does It", using directional fabric, which led me, a newbie, into all sorts of traps; I made an error in my cutting which made my side strip too short which resulted in me having to create a quilted patch on my side strip: I used your re-joining method, as shown in this video, on either side of my patch, and it worked perfectly. Your videos have made it possible for me (a newbie to many sewing techniques, including quilting) to make bags. I never in a million years would have imagined that bag-making would be a path I would follow. Your patterns, their practical uses, your videos, your excellent teaching skills, the colours, the fabrics, your methods, and your enthusiastic follower-bag-makers have made this possible for me. THANK YOU!!!! From Sydney Australia 🧵✔😀💖
An awesome training which really gives me confidence when tackling bag making. I'm much more likely to purchase patterns when I can view great step by step videos with an excellent teacher. The videos are professionally made, to the point & provide great close-up viewing. Well done!
This was a great tutorial. I have had problems with directional fabrics and have avoided them. It will take some practice, but it will be worth it. Many thanks.
Best of luck, Sharon! We hope you can include sewing with directional fabrics in your arsenal of skills from now on. And of course, you can always call or email us if you get stuck when you're trying it out.
Thank you Annie for another EXCELLENT tutorial. This video is so helpful! You are getting so many of us through this pandemic with your great patterns, excellent and detailed instructions as well as your delightful cheery self! I am not alone in my deep appreciation for time and effort to your video productions. Keep up the wonderful work.
Hi, can you tell me the name/maker of the fabric used 25seconds in for the lap top type bag (white background with upturned glass jars containing birds and flowers etc)
That tool caddy is called 'Catch All Caddy 2.0' and it can be found on our website at www.ByAnnie.com/catch-all-caddy-2 if you wanted more details on making it! Thank you for asking (and watching our video!).
Video Tutorials from ByAnnie.com Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I already have the pattern and seeing it in the video has now inspired me to make it.

Where can we find those gorgeous fabrics?
Hi, can you tell me the name/maker of the fabric used 25seconds in for the lap top type bag (white background with upturned glass jars containing birds and flowers etc)
That fabric is called 'Curio', designed by Betsy Olmsted (Windham Fabrics). It's absolutely beautiful in person!
Great instructions, thank you. What pattern was used to make the ‘tool caddy’ on your right?
