How great! This project/storage bag in its previous version is one of my favorite bags. I guess I will need to plan a new one. I especially like no more hook and loop in attaching the pages. Thank you Annie!
Thanks, your the best designer and teacher, hands down the best BAG patterns and I knew you would be developing a 2.0 for this pattern, so I cant wait to get one here in Brisbane Australia. Need to talk to @VOODOO RABBIT 😊
I’m not a quilter. So I wonder what is the possibility of working just with two layers of fabric. Do you advise to use a stabilizer, and if you do, witch one?
The bags will stand up and hold their shape with stabilizer. We recommend ByAnnie brand Soft & Stable! I didn't find it hard to sew. There are easy techniques to reduce the bulk in the seams that you can find in the Add-on videos that are FREE with the pattern. Also, I do suggest the ByAnnie Basics patterns to start your journey. They are free on the website and will get you the confidence to tackle a more complex project like this one. Good luck to you and happy Stitching! ~Hawke
I bought the previous version, but only used it to make an additional page for a similar store bought bag. I had to size it down a bit, but new page was still much nicer than the original bag 😅 However, I like the idea of much less hook and loop tape 🤔...I think I need to go shopping 😉
I want to make this for all of my thread. I have mostly the coats and Clark bigger spools of thread. I have them in 4 match cars containers. Do you think they would all fit in this bag?
Where are tutorials. I am making A place for everything, original pattern. Its been awhile since ive made it, but sometimes the size is preferred to 2.0. but, again, you provide NO tutorials without an extra $5 payment.
This looks perfect for my upcoming event! Thank you!

Just ordered only just learnt about it . And yay 😀 can’t wait
If you use mesh on the thread pockets, you can feed threads through the mesh and never have to take the spools out of the pockets
Great Information. Very Informative
Such a beautiful bag.
Love this pattern! About to buy...

Great info.
I just bought this at a shop today. Is there a way to get the updated version rather than buying it twice? I would love it being easier to follow.

Love this bag. Can this pattern be downloaded in pdf?
Love the fabric that you used. Who is the designer and name of fabric. Thanks so much
It’s Curioser and Curioser by Tula Pink. It a new fabric line which will be out soon.
Please watch the A Closer Look video for this pattern. At the end, you'll see several bags that we made along with info about the fabric used.
How many pocket pages can this hold?
Where I can I order the plastic fitted bottom for Ultimate travel bag?
www.byannie.com/base-stabilizer
For the Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0 you will want the BS160 option on the page linked above.
Can I get a PDF pattern of this bag? I live in Canada and the postage cost more than the pattern.
We aren't offering a PDF of this pattern. You might try asking your local quilt shop if they would be willing to order it for you!
