  • When it comes to cooking, I have to admit I've gotten a bit lazy. So I looked up companies that deliver nutritious meals to my doorstep. That's when I discovered Factor Food. Here's what my experience was like, along with my thoughts.

    Informative and interesting and I didn't know the information about the Hello Fresh umbrella. Another good review. Thanks!

    I did Factor in the Fall2021/Winter2022 - Living in Vegas, I don't like having food being delivered and sitting at my door in the summer so I cancelled.
    The meals were good and fit into my Keto lifestyle. I may renew this fall.
    Good video, Sir!

    Just bought some factor boxes because of your review, I’ve had 2 meals so far and can say I’m a big fan of the taste, I was a bit skeptical at first. I’m going to stay with this for a while

      I'm trying it out. I keep eating badly and there is nothing healthy in my area. Seems worth it to me.

    That frozen goo bag is the same as hello fresh and that goo didn’t dry out after 3 weeks.

    Trying factor but concerned about cholestoral. Two meals a day are borderline high In cholestoral

      Pitch Buckets...I get it. It's always best to cook "raw food" so there are less unhealthy things in it. But sometimes we all get in a pinch and we have to make sure we have a quick, healthy (but not perfect) option.

    As someone who has a really bad diet and overweight. If i switched to only eating 2 Factor meals a day and a breakfast for a few months, is it reasonable to say it is good for weight loss?

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  Рік тому

      Kelvin Sun, first off, I think it’s great that you are thinking of ways to improve your diet and get to a healthier weight. However, I’m not a certified nutritionist and I would suggest you make an appointment with one and do several follow up visits or check ins to find the best way to get a better diet and achieve weight loss for you. There are a lot of habits that have to change in order to do that. So other than “eating 2 Factor meals a day” that will help you immensely. I know it’s not easy, and we all struggle with this. So know you are not alone. I wish you the best on your weight loss journey!

      They have special packages for weightloss and weight loss coaching. It is good for losing weight but only if you put in the effort to work out consistently too

    I'm curious, what's stopping you from just throwing away the bags?

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  Рік тому +1

      Joey...the cooling element gel in the bags is not good for the environment. I don't feel comfortable just throwing it away in the garbage so it just sits in some landfill for years and years.

    Can you microwave them?

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  8 місяців тому

      I used an oven, but this is what I found out on the "interwebs" Since all of Factor's meals come fully prepared, no prep work or cooking is involved. Slip the plastic tray out of its cardboard sleeve, puncture the film cover a few times with a knife or fork, and place it in the microwave to reheat.Jun 20, 2023

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  Рік тому +1

      v4seen, I was really impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. From what I recall, all of the food had to be eaten with 7 or 8 days of receiving it, which tells me there weren't many preservatives in it.

      No, they don't. You have to look up "specific" places that dispose of their cooling bags. You are not supposed to dump them in your trash.

    Sorry to piss on Factors popularity but I personally had a horrible experience with these people. I cancelled my subscription before the first box was sent but they sent it anyway. I called customer service who I could barely understand. I felt the $19/meal was a bit pricey. A representative from the company told me I was "racist" because I couldn't understand their customer service rep whose main language wasn't English. I could barely make out a few words they were saying. When conducting business that costs my good ol' American money, I need to know what is being said. Long story short, don't give them your information. ESPECIALLY anything to do with billing. CANCELLED this subscription.

      Ugh, that sounds like an awful experience! Thanks for sharing though, and I'm hoping this was a one time experience and it doesn't happen to anyone else.

    • @michelleturner8979

      Thank you. It definitely will be a one time occurence for me as I cancelled the subscription. I just feel so much empathy for the elderly population who posted their experiences and the fact that most of them were on a fixed income is a down right shame.@@FitnessFinance4u
