I was thinking about joining mine with needle and thread as well.. I saw someone on YT using hot glue and it was pretty messy at the end. Good to know that it’s doable with the right tools..
I just used a small thin nail in the wall, and positioned the rainbow over it so that the nail went between two of the rows of rope (wasn't visible from the front), but you could also sew a small yarn loop onto the back instead!
Finally someone that doesn't use hot glue!!! Way neater to just sew everything together even if it's a little harder
