For spare toolbox key I recommend a key safe one that looks like a giant sized padlock with a 4 tumbler code. Just need to lock it onto something sturdy.
@@pablosgarage707 You might get it around the back wheel if it doesn’t slide off, that narrow collar part as i presume your not pushing that box around anyway or even just hang it on the side push bar if there is one on that box and push it to the back side edge and have other things hanging in the way etc. And then photo the code leave photo on your phone and also give the code number to your girl or some one you trust so even if you forget the code its only a phone call away
otc does the ball joint kit---wrenches are knuckle saver 2, USA made----mac grip screwdrivers are the higher quality screwdriver made by mac/stanley company--foam sets are vendor sourced SD's but still nice sets---hd box is made by stanley vidmar and built like a tank!!!
Awesome!!! Thank you for the info Mike! I may have to try some Mac grips in the near future. Those hd boxes look awesome! Hopefully I’ll see one in person soon 🤷♂️
Hi, we had the keys locked in a Mac box situation. I can’t remember the exact details as we were selling the box at the time and just needed it open; but you can basically put a screwdriver in a rectangle slot and it allows you to slide the lock mechanism to the left which unlocks the box. Ie there is no full stop latch on them - it’s just spring loaded.. Hope that makes some sort of sense. Either way I assure you there is no need to drill anything 👍
I really enjoy wating your videos Pablo. Started getting into tools. Thanks for the great content. I always thought the mac and snap on tool trucks were delivering tools not selling tools.
In a previous video Alan said that the snap on guy is claiming that their shop isn’t on his route despite snap on corporate saying that it is his route.
That Snap-on franchise with Leo sucks, what a tool he is. He has that goofy grin on his face all the time and his salesmanship is as bad as a used car dealer salesperson.
Good to know! I texted my dealer about them today and he is going to order them. It’s kinda crazy that these came up because I was debating between getting a set of Tekton, Precision Torque, Wright, and a used set of Knuckle Saver wrenches. When you showed the Knuckle Savers in the flyer I knew that’s what I had to get.
@pablosgarage707 the proto duratek( a gray Mac grip essentially) switched to shafts made in France and handles made here in USA but I'm pretty sure the shafts were going to start being made in France as well so if I had to guess the Mac's would also follow this new path
The pawl broke inside Mac guy threw a kit in it and hood as new. Handle flexed but didn’t bend. Tougher tha my 1/2 snap on that thing breaks when you look at it wrong. I work remote fly in sites in northern Canada. We beat the crap out of our tools a lot of times you have to make do because no place to get anything till we fly home for days off. Mac axis ratchets are tougher than all the rest. Not as smooth or least back drag but definitely strong.
If anyone is wanting to buy stuff out of the Mac Tools flyers, you can call their customer service number and they will ship to you direct to your house or place of business for free. You just need to pay you local sales tax and use a credit card. And these "trade in" promos, where they will give you X amount of money for your old tool to buy a new tool: I have never traded in any tool to get the "trade in" promo price when calling Mac Tools customer service. One caveat: I have never ordered any of the tool boxes or other bulky items (for example, AC machine) that were featured in the sales flyers. Not sure how Mac tools customer service would handle that type of order. But so far, I have ordered a couple thousand dollars worth of hand tools and powertools and a few pieces of the clothing swag from Mac Tools directly, and not through a dealer.
I saw my MAC dealer Monday! He has a new trailer it’s super nice’ ! I have a purple on purple Maximiser and it really pops on the shop, everyone goes nots over it!
@ yeah my main two tools boxes are purple lol most are surprised on how pretty they are in person especially the Purple on purple Maxsiser I have, it’s beautiful Once I get a bigger Maxisimiser, I will make the purple on purple one I use currently as a dresser in my room, I want to buy another one now but my boyfriend would kill me if I bought a $4k tool box and use it as a dresser right now haha
I've always been told the opposite. Even the Mac Tools pear head ratchet which is 30 tooth says oil daily! Maybe that's oil only. Something like that. The finer tooth ratchets need highly refined grease. 72 tooth I don't think it matters.

Would be good. Prob stick it under the box

Appreciate the advice! I ended up drilling the old tumbler and installed a new one. No damage to the box 🙏
Are the Mac screwdrivers good? The tawain ones not the USA/spain ones?
I have the budget ones. They work well. I’ve actually only broke 1. Used it as a prybar 😮.
I really enjoy wating your videos Pablo. Started getting into tools. Thanks for the great content. I always thought the mac and snap on tool trucks were delivering tools not selling tools.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy the videos. I used to think the same thing long ago lol.
LOL.... Alan!!!! you locked our man Pabs out of his box????? lol..... You guys are the best!!!
Is that code reader worth it? Anything know anything about
Hey pablo make sure to keep one key on your personal keys
Get a magnetic hook, put it on the back of your box and hang your toolbox key on it.
I ended up hiding one in the shop. My luck I would loose all the keys
Pablo, you should do a "Review" of the Tool Truck calendars for 2025. Tell Alyssa that is for "informational purposes" only.
Hmmmmmm 🤔
No.
lol Alyssa did not approve 😂😂😂
how come snap on doesn't come anymore?
In a previous video Alan said that the snap on guy is claiming that their shop isn’t on his route despite snap on corporate saying that it is his route.
They could go if they wanted to. Maybe not much business from the shop, or out of the way..? Whatever the actual reason is, is what it is. 🤷🏻♂️
Not enough sales

@@akovic100 if they sucked they wouldnt be #1 world wide.
just-in time!! where is his set of red master keys at??? with the red master keys you can swap tumbler out in 5 seconds?
Not sure. I will ask him next week lol
Not sure. I will ask him next week lol
I really need tht pry bar set tht is on promo if i contact him will he ship to maryland??
I think so. I’d send him a message on instagram and see if he gets back to you.
Oh I’m gonna have to get a set of the metric knuckle savers
Good price and great wrenches. I only own a 12mm knuckle saver and I love it!

Spare key in a safe space is a good thing
I agree!
Can you ask him if the Mac grip screwdrivers are being made in France now or still made in USA
Will do. I believe Mac grip is still USA but I’m not sure.

I still got the og mac screwdrivers.
Awesome! How have they held up?
@ Good. They are 20 plus years old.
Tell Justin to get a digital picture frame and he can load all the toolbox purchase pictures and it can shuffle play through the pictures.
I like that idea! I’ll let hin know next week. Appreciate the suggestion!
Does the dealer not have a master key?
He does not lol. Maybe he will soon and we can see what they look like 😂
Air tool oil on the matco and mac ratchets, super lube on the Snap-on. Mac and matco fine tooth ratchets wont work right with super lube.
Punctuation would REALLY clarify what you’re trying to say.
I’ve read it like 3 different ways.. $ can’t quite tell what Exactly you really mean
Good job breaking that 1/2” mac axis ratchet buy hand. I broke mine but there was a 4ft pipe on it being pushed but an excavator.
I think it was 3/8
It was a 3/8 lol. Wow that’s a lot of torque applied to that 1/2 lol. What broke the anvil or the handle ?

Good flyer ty Pablo
It is a good one! Anytime! More to come
Do a review on the power probe
Will do! I love my power probe 3!
That’s a great dealer!!
Is MAC beholden to the if we have a truck in your area we wont let another dealer sell to you?

Where’s Danny ?
In the comments lol
@@dans._.garage707back at the shop. Or Danny the snap on dealer , too many Danny’s lol
If I had Mac dealer, I would buy them USA socket set
They are nice. For some reason I just can’t ever get my self to buy expensive sockets lol

Really oil daily? I’ve never noticed that. Alan has one. I’ll take a look at it tomorrow.
I always see the MAC videos. Unfortunately don’t have a Mac dealer at my shop:(
Oh man bummer. Try reaching out to Mac to see if you have a local distributor if not maybe message Justin on instagram for some tools 🤷♂️
Great video 👍
Thanks man I appreciate it!
You should get a hutch, i have one and I'd never go back
One day. First I’ll pay the box off and get more tools! Unless a scratch and dent hitch just randomly shows on up
Stand on business Pablo
I’m usually pretty fair but man that one guy is just pushing the boundaries by just walking up and grabbing my tools.
Pablo. It's 2025. Your title is 'Mac tool Tuesday 1/28/24'
@@DerAngriff man I can’t ever get the title right 😂
Pablo find a cheap Harley sportster!
I should. A buddy had one but I just did not like the color. It was an 05 I believe.
Harley went way too woke. Grow a pair and admit they don’t represent u
Indian bikes look nicer imo also but I’m new to bikes lol. I never have ridden one 😂😂😂
