8:05: for anyone interested, those are cooling tubes to control turbine blade tip clearances. If the case gets too hot and expands, there would be too much space between the turbine blade tips, causing a loss of power. Cooling air comes from one of the primary compressor sections.

Imagine dumping 1000 bucks on a model that doesnt work, just add another 600 bucks and actually have a real micro turbojet engine that works and produces 10kg of thrust

This in turn takes in more air inside the engine which enters the combustion chamber where fuel is mixed and then ignited by spark plug which pushes the jet obtained from the back , then Newton's third law does the trick.

This model is extremely impressive, but at the same time very frustrating. I mean with such a level of detail & material selection, this could very well be an actual working jet engine. Why not equip it with fuel, lubrication & ignition systems to be RC plane worthy? 😢
Awesome model kit but it is absolutely NOT worth $1000. It’s worth maybe $175 at best. Great product but for $1000 you can buy an actual mini turbine that requires fuel, oil, and other lubricants used by life size engines. The build time on this kit I’m sure is no more than an hour long. But amazing model regardless
