This one ripped my heart out, I bought my first Cranberries album the day my father was promoted to LT COL. My sister and I had the privilege to put his rank on his uniform. We ended up at the BX afterwards and he loved Zombie so much, he told me this song matters, I was 13 and had no clue. I'm a disabled veteran now,I've been through 2 wars and Haiti and I'm not a victim, I survived. This song means a lot.

Yeah... I had to skip the story. Death freaks my fiance at this time. Also for me I had to listen to some nostalgic memorable songs the morning after my mom passed away 1-1/2 months ago.
Most people just think its about the IRA in general.
Very few know specifically what the song is about.
I'm from Warrington, England where these bombings happened, so this song is very personal to me. If anyone were to search Johnathan Ball and Tim Parry they would find out exactly what this song is about.

Tommy got kicked out of Divine Heresy for a good reason. Although Travis Neal has a higher pitched voice, he's more talented than Tommy. Dino and Travis are awesome.

You can tell how good any musical act is when they go acoustic. Great acts nail it, bad ones crash and burn. That's my test anyway whether or not I will continue to follow a musical act. Bad Wolves nailed it.
So great to see a talented band with such humility pay tribute to a fellow musician and do something truly kind for her family. So many musicians care nothing about ripping off someone else's song and taking credit for their genius just to make a buck. I had the privilege of seeing the Cranberries live several times in the 90s as an angst-filled teenager, and this cover hits me right in the feels. Brilliant.

Tommy Vex and the other members of Bad Wolves could not have paid higher tribute than what they have done. This is such an emotionally charged song that not only the original but this version will occasionally bring a tear to your eye. My heart hurts because the world has lost Dolores but no final tribute could have been paid than the remastering of this song
aside from removing the key reference to the 1916 rising in Ireland, and replacing 1916 with "Two Thousand Eighteen" it was there for a reason!!!

And when i come across this group covering i wondered if i would like it. I LOVED IT...loved the message, loved the passion, loved the video....but sad wished she could have performed on it. But GREAT cover and now discovering other Bad Wolves songs which i am taking a huge liking to. Thank you for your passionate rendering of this iconic song. Namaste P.S. I tried not to cry when watching him struggle through the 'mothers heart' part...i failed miserably v.v. again Great job.....such sadness and passion.

Hes one of the most humble, talented, artists I know. I had the chance to go to one of his concerts, after their performance fans were allowed to take pictures with him, I got in line like 3 times, and he received me with the same joy, the same smile on his face, he showed so much appreciation to his fans, he is such a lovely, beautiful, strong human being with so much talent🤘

I am so glad that she was able to communicate with bad wolves and give her seal of approval before she passed tragically. Now he knows how she felt about it and that's a great legacy to leave behind knowing that his music was something she very much wanted to be a part of.

I remember being a senior in high school when Linger was an instant hit when it was released in 1993, Zombie followed in ‘94. Their music wasn’t like anything else at the time here in the states. The Cranberries were an instant hit, they were being heard everywhere, her voice was incredible! Anyone who saw them live knows Delores was this pretty petite young lady with a powerful voice that was unique. I still watch the videos of them playing at Woodstock in 1994, Dreams is my favorite song grub that year.
The early 90’s was an epic time for new music, all genres old and new. Grateful to have been a teenager when music was changing, too it’s cool when your children want to hear the same songs you grew up with. Great cover, gives me chills. I’d like to believe that Delores was overjoyed hearing this, and touched so much so that she wanted to be a part of it. This says a lot ❤️ Very sad as the world was shocked by her passing, she was one talented woman. All their songs are well written stories, with Zombie being an important one. It’s as it’s as relevant now as it was then, a song for generations to come.
She made an ever lasting impression on the world.. This is so beautiful! The music video tribute they did brings tears to my eyes 💓
