Hello, good question, the slower you cook eggs the easier they are to clean, I had no problem with cleaning this probably because of the oil I used. No problem to use over the fire, I have however been told to watch cooking with aluminium as it might not be the best as it could have toxicity, I'm not sure if true so caution needed, thanks for watching, cheers Chris
Fantastic video Chris. Loved the great footage, camera angles and your start to finish presentation of breakie in the woods. And the food looked spot-on. Nice one Buddy 👍
Thanks Giles, so much for eating healthy ha ha. I enjoyed it, simple videos like this I get crazy with camera shots😂. There is something about the smell of smoke though, in a woodland scene. Cheers bud, all the best. Chris
Hi, released it last night, next thing you know riddled with porn links and loads of German comments. Bots or something so deleted it. Lucky is short video ha ha cause it always takes hours. The walking video i did two videos ago took two and a half days to upload. Well that's the bacon consumed thanks to your vote. I did vote in your poll too 😎
Nice one thank you. Sticking is normally a problem with mess tins like most aluminium pans. The eggs looked really good. A slice of your homemade bread would have finished it of to a treat. Quite minimalist cooking, Giles would be proud of you. Cheers, Ian
Cheers Ian. The trick I found was to take the tin away from the fire and then put it back on, otherwise the heat can become to fierce. You have just given me an idea to do Mess Tin bread one day so thanks. Giles is awesome, finding his channel has been a breath of fresh air. Cheers Chris
Ha ha Trev, that kettle i think is nearly 20 years old now and has certainly seen a lot of use. I must of been good last year because my wife bought me that for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised. Cheers mate, how are you?
I got your vote Gregor by hacking your account and guessing your password, got it right first time....bluemurder😎. A christmas gift Gregor from my lovely wife😀. Cheers bud.
Question, how badly do eggs (if they do) stain the messtin, or how hard is it to clean? Also, is it safe to use a camp fire on a messtin?

One of these days when the temperature is agreeable enough I want to try out my new Mil-Tec "German" mess kit. ATB !
I didn't see the first one come up so good thing you re-released it lol I've noticed on others that they are getting the 'only' comments as well
