🎹 Jazz Piano Tutorial ❤
As you all know it is difficult to lead a busy life and attain a high proficiency level of piano playing. However, every time I listen to Tony Winston and his PHENOMENAL arrangements, it gives me hope. If you are not a Patreon supporter of Tony, you are certainly missing a great opportunity to enhance your piano playing and 🤩add fantastic music to your life. Thank You Tony for your dedication.... Paulo Marin, Moorpark, CA
Hello Tony, I got used to watching your classes here on UA-cam and I don't want another jazz teacher you are formidable.
Thanks Tony..god bless you.
Always offer a practical, straightforward piano tutorials. Love it Tony❤
Couldn’t agree more! I’m working through lessons I think are helping me to work through some of the concepts etc and according to the misses it’s working- well she says she’s enjoying it. But sometimes I just enjoy listening to Tony play because he’s a terrific piano player.
Thank you! I am a vision impaired person finally at jazz uni in Australia your videos have helped a lot learning songs and charts. I can always count on your videos to help me get through 😊
Love the rhythm in your solo!!
Great teacher always
Lots of love Tony! Thanks as always
Very catchy tune 👍
Thank you so much! Wonderfull! :)
Yes Tony you are correct- very hard to find this in our fake books. But I did find it somewhere like you, and learned it a few years ago ( my arrangement). It will be great to work on yours!!! Thanks so much
Love it! Tony, I am sure you got a got a lot yourself, but if you need any Real-Fake-Song- books/collections, pop jazz latin etc. , give me a hint. I have tons.(digital, of course).
Love you always
Hi Tony
Could you show your use of drop 2’s real slow with explanation?
Thanks
Bruce
Yo T-dog, could u do ‘When Sunny gets blue’ please, preferably McCoy Tyner’s version?
I enjoyed your common sense approach to improvisation on this tune. Your opening run through was great.
Thanks a lot, Tony, for the excellent video on 'On Green Dolphin Street'! Your insights were very helpful. If you have the time, could you consider doing a video on improvising over the C section of the tune? I'm struggling with it, and I imagine others might be too.
Will do!

Tony, can you explain what you did when you played "something that sounds jazzy".
Love all of your playing. Can we anticipate more Accompaniments for Female Voices? Thanks for all you do.
Yes, soon
@@TonyWinston Did you accidentally put a video by David Packman in your Accompaniments for Female Voices playlist? Maybe my lack of skills is responsible for not being able to figure out how to sing to it.
@@TrueClearMedia that sound like something i might have done, thanks for the heads up
T- dog 😂😂😂😂
I can't for the life of me understand why u don't use ur blue color labeled keyboard display more often when we know that reading sheet music, ( even simple lead sheets ) is a huge stumbling block that leads to procrastination of many would be musicians. 💙 🎹 💙
I know. My studio is ripped apart. I'll have it back soon
@@TonyWinston understood. Both methods are very useful & educational it's just that sometimes I find myself squinting my eyes trying to figure out the exact notation or progression you've played. Apparently piano teaching lessons channels are very competitive on UA-cam and I've noticed an increasing amount of them. But I have to admit that yours is one of the more informative ones in terms of the basics in my humble opinion. So thanks for the quick reply and continued success. ( now back to the music. I'm still feeling my way around ur version of "A Nightingale Song" focusing on open voicings ) thanks again. 🎼🎶
