it's so cool seeing that a character who everyone thought they solved just come up again. as someone who isn't that big into the smash scene, hearing stories like this makes me really interested in Pro smash. it makes me wonder what other low tiers there are on other games that are actually really good
PT never really fell into low tier, people like Tweek and Ned just dropped the character. I'm not a PT main, but the character looks like a lot to learn because you essentially need to learn 3 characters to get the most out of them. I feel like it's because of this that many people ended up dropping the character even though they're debatably a top 10 character,

Seeing new faces rise to prominence like Quidd, Kola, Zomba, Muteace, Spargo. It makes every major worth watching just to see some crazy standout performance By "rise to prominence," I mostly mean new peaks for these players. I know some of them were already well-known and crushing it pre-quarantine, but given how much the rankings have shifted, they're gaining height like never before.
Spargo's rise is especially insane imo. The kid literally went from unranked to top 3 in the world over quarantine. Also don't forget about Elegant. He made top 4 at every supermajor he attended which is a level of consistency that only Leo and Spargo beat. On top of that he did it with a character many people considered a mid-tier.

Holy cow your calls were on point this entire tournament. Your biggest miscalculation was the Squirtle call during the match he got two water gun kills lol, but wow your commentator knowledge of both matchups and players themselves was so on point
l'm not saying that he isnt well-versed in this kinda stuff right, but you also need to keep in mind that these 30 minutes were cut out of a like 5.5 hour long stream, and they can just kinda only show the times where Coney ended up being right while omitting the times he ended up being wrong
