Did you ever get the extra tank in and make a day 3 video? I am having same problem and mow a large hill. Wanted to see how that part went in and how has it helped.
Unfortunately, dad finished the job up when we were not there to film it. The mower is still going strong, cutting grass every week during the summer. If you guys should do an update video on it, just let me know.
Its not a control valve . It's the pump and motor together in one unit. Then it drives the gearbox. If you start getting a clunking out of the gearbox it,s time to put a brake drum on it(about50 bucks) . I would change the oil on the hydro every 100 hrs and use mobil1 15w50
@@skofflaww3883 Yes I agree because this is a hydraulic system. It uses a different type of rubber components not compatible with engine oil. I'm not sure why Stan suggested 15w50. I like Mobil 1 but not for this. I will also stick to UDT2.
You guys do good work.

I am just a zd28 owner and was wondering what you talking about when you said change the oil on the hydro every one hundred hours?
I’m not taking any chances on the fluid. Kubota UDT2 for the pump assy and gear oil for the gear boxes.
