Your strawberry turtle tutorial was the very first ever amigurumi tutorial that I followed. I've come a long way since! Thanks so much for giving us another easy to follow adorable turtle pattern 💓
This was my first ever pattern I tried when I started crocheting! I've come so far since I first used it but I have used this so many times and it is still so easy and wonderful to follow thank you so much and the result is so great!
Your tutorial is so easy to follow! You do the best demonstration and explanation of what you’re doing and how we should do it. I’m fairly new at this but after watching your video, I am so excited to continue on and try so much more!
My didn’t turn out like yours. But it might be my hook. But my mom ordered some crocheting stuff and the correct hook. But, im going on a 26+ hour road trip and im planning to crochet, so I probably would be back to this tut later! Tysm
Omg 1 minute ago? Earliest I've been haha! And this is just in time, I wash crocheting all day and I kid you nod, I was just looking on Pinterest for a pattern, but Genna, your pattern is my favourite one so I guess I manifested it😂❤️ tysm this is very well detailed as always, and your works always motivate me to crochet! I'm just starting out but I'm already obsessed haha🫶
Excellent Tutorial! Thank you so much for featuring Premier Parfait Chunky to create this absolutely adorable Turtle! Your instructions are so easy to follow and your presentational is so professional! Keep bringing more love and joy into our world through your wonderful works of art created with yarn. Thank you also for sharing your talent crocheting with all of your subscribers! Your enthusiasm and energy are inspiring!!!! THANK YOU!
I have never watched one of you tutorials before but I absolutely loved this one! And I just so happened to have the exact same green as you. My turtle is sooooo cute!
Thank you so much! my sister is 5 yrs old ( the turning 6 in nov) and loves the plushies that I make based on your patterns I have been crocheting for about 2 yrs now and this is the most easiest pattern I have found so far. We have now started a tradition where I make/give her different colored turtles for every holiday and special occasion! You have made life sweeter for my sis and me. Thank you🙏🤗

so you can, but when you crochet the fin closed it creates an outline and the outline will be on the bottom if you flip the fin around. But its personal preference :) you can do it like that if you want!
It's because the edges of the fins won't look the same when you sew them on. The stitches will be upside down for the second fin and it will affect the symmetry of the design. You can't see it on the video very well, but the little "V's" the stitches create will only be visible on one side. So basically it's for aesthetic purposes more than anything.
Thank you so much for sharing this! You are the TURTLE QUEEN! You are also a great instructor!! Can't wait to see what else you have in mind!! Thanks again!
Genna, I just watched your other video from 3 months ago on how to design crochet patterns, and I was wondering that if in the future, you could make a video on how to take professional pictures of your crochet? I’m so bad at taking pictures 😂😭😭 however I’ve seen the pictures on your website and I’m so jealous. Do you have any tips or advice?
Hi Genna, hope you're having a great day! I've been trying to make your human size turtle but unfortunately the head is a lot smaller than yours and i even used parfait xl (I bought 4 skeins for the body, is that enough) 😔 I was wanting to know, do you keep a loose tension? Or any tips you could give? I'm pretty sure I followed the video correctly, maybe my tension is too tight 🤧 thank you ❤
Hi there! Aww no, I feel like overtime my tension got tighter, but sometimes if I want loose tension I really just have to pay attention and force myself to loosen up. Hopefully this helps

For the fins, why can't I just flip the fin around? seeing as we fold it like a taco, won't front and back be exactly the same?
so you can, but when you crochet the fin closed it creates an outline and the outline will be on the bottom if you flip the fin around. But its personal preference :) you can do it like that if you want!
