I think being short is not the problem but having longer torso and short legs makes it difficult.Also pants looks weird from the back since the ass is too low
@@april110 yeah I can see that being an extra frustrating struggle. I'm glad for these videos. They've made narrowing down outfits easy. I'm short apple/refrigerator shape, short torso. I have to create a waist. Shopping for clothes can be exhausting. Working on losing weight. Hopefully I can make clothes shopping a lot easier and exciting.
@@JVonD88 I am long torso, short legs with visible manly calves makes it harder to look feminine in leggings, fitted jeans etc. Am more like square shape because i also have broad shoulder. None of youtube videos are helping me out cause my body seems very different.

For short torso!!! I have super long leg but my torso is super short and it’s hard to balance the proportions to look balanced.
i agree with all of this! as someone who stands at a mere 5'2, i'm always looking to dress in a way that makes my silhouette look taller and less boxy.
me personally, as a short girl I like to wear wide leg pants, it makes me look taller in my opinion

I wish I would’ve found your channel earlier. I couldn’t figure out what styles might fit me because somehow none of the often described body types/figures seemed to be me. And now I know why: they never took height into consideration. I am about 10cm below the average (for women) in my home country, so obviously finding fitting clothes and styles as pretty difficult. Now I can at least learn what styles work

Believe me these clothes r only for skinny tall girls. I as a 5.6 ft curvy girl and curvy as in curvy not fat this ain't for me too. The first pants mad eme look shorter and like a eggplant. Paper bad pants makes my waist look bigger and same torso issue. Those baggy short tops just makes u look like a baloon

I’m 5’4 1/2” but my arms and legs are long. I look a little taller unless I’m in an overweight phase. Petite sizes don’t fit me well, I need regular sizes. But I am feeling increasingly short as time goes on. Younger people are just getting taller, I guess.

Boxy tops just don't look good. Atleast not on their own, without any layering or belt 🤧 I have a decently long torso, but they still make me look like a box.
Yes, hanging on the rack they look so tempting (feminine and "easy" to wear) but they just look overly baggy everywhere.

I'm 5'0", so basically have given up on finding affordable well fitting pants. There are limits to what you can alter and still maintain the intended shape of the garment. I agree with the slim cut/no wide legs. Technically, I'm considered a petite short in length, which is hard to find (especially in the double digit sizes). I mostly just wear capri pants, which are ankle length pants at my height. Of course, they are typically available only in the spring/summer. I will have to lose this pre-menopause weight around the middle in order to find something more flattering, though, especially if my next job is not remote.

Lol Paper bag pant trend was around in the ‘90’s!! It’s STILL unflattering on everyone except tall thin girls .

Yes I was just speaking to my mom about wide legged pants! I look like a muffin 😂😂😂 I will forever be skinny jean girl. And fitted trousers, of course. However, boxy shirts will always be my jam. Half tucked into skinny jeans still looks classic to me.

Those pants don’t look good on anyone it also attracts attention to your waist and the extra fabrics makes people look bloated . I made the mistake to buy a pair and I just wear it without the belt.

There is nothing i like about this girl
I just cannot get what’s so stylish about the boxy cotton tops. They only suit women with slender slim physique. But if you are chubby or even healthy for that matter, doesn’t matter if you’re short or tall they just make you look couple of pounds more 😢. Plus they r hell to iron!! So yes I completely agree with this video!
