Every now & again this video shows up in my YT feed. Then I watch it & spend the next week or so jamming to their entire discography. It's like a reminder "Hey, remember us?!"
It shows up at the top of mine every day -- probably because I watch it every day -- so I watch it every day.
DIRECTV coheed and cambria welcome home this song is fucking awesome
If Claudio isn't a badass I don't know who Is.
ERIC GIBSON yea I don’t know either, he is an amazing player!!!
On the record I wasn't to into the way his vocals were mixed. Here it's much more pure and it sounds so much better to my ears. Incredible live performance.
Holy Shirt these fellas are amazing.
I was here after watching the First to Eleven cover of this just to cleanse my ears of what true Welcome Home vibe is.
It was so bad!
i think it was pre good until the vocals kicked in (this comment made me listen to them for the first time) and yeh nah it goes shit from there. the solo is good but something seems off especially her back vocals
@@lochlan1788 I agree, the vocals I guess did not do enough research of Claudio
Same bro
Messing up all i do. Jebus played leeeeder. God that shit was so trash
I feel like I should be battling orcs when this song comes on...defending the kingdom while riding a dragon.
I FEEL IT TOO!
you aren't wrong. JRRT would be proud

U gotta hear this one! :) :) :) :)
I always pictured big pirate ship cannon fights. Living against the ships of the dead.
Maybe I'm playing too much Sea of Thieves....
Haha exactly
These guys have been Dope As Fuuuck for years!!!!
I think Claudio and this song finished at the same time.
what he meant by that is that the voice doesn't match the face, he's not referring to synching
pretty sure hes talkin about cumming lol
ErectSkid word lmfao like wtf is going thru everyone else's head
Coheed and cambria is one of my favorites
I did not appreciate this band enough when I was younger. So glad UA-cam recommended it
Kinda feels like Sanchez was like "This riff is so fun to play, let's just do it twice at the beginning of the song, don't worry, it'll be awesome" and ya know what? He's absolutely right.
I saw them in 2007, they were just as tight , the most precise band I've ever seen live
Still remember playing this song on the first Rock Band game, became one of my favorite songs today!
Hands down best recording of this song... on UA-cam

U gotta hear this one! :) :) :) !
The sad part is how under rated this band is. This whole album is a Masterpiece.
Watching musicians playing live is a whole different level! I randomly found this song on Spotify, liked it, and when it hits again, sometimes I feel like listening, sometimes feel like skipping. But then I come here, find this video, and damn! It feels like this is the best song ever made! Really, really amazing!
20-30 years from now. this solo will be a classic
Jamir Calumpit 😂😂
The build up before the solos is so great
The guitar tones here are INSANE! Those weren't just guitars - they were sonic flamethrowers!
I've been a touring musician for 30 years. I'm 38. Seen, worked and played thousands of concerts. And to this day, Coheed is the most perfect band I've ever seen live. I literally walked outside the venue in the middle of the show questioning my entire life decision.
Come on nick if youve seen thousands of bands or w/e you would know that theyre an average band at best with a good vocalist
@@3ddgemi997 define "average", for this genre of music doin they are pretty good
Not hardly @@3ddgemi997
@@Porketz the fat guitarist sounds and looks very average
