He keeps throwing money down, I would be sweating. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE that truck but damn man I have a family and their needs come before my wants.
Man that would be one hell of a choice to make, because that's a lot of money and it's one hell of a truck. All said and done, I agree with Todd, I'm happy to see the truck go to someone who really wants it. Congratulations Justin.
I must have come by shortly after that burnout. Pretty good skids in the driveway. Thanks to whomever it was I talked to today. I appreciate your answering my questions.
If another give away truck is built, keep true to the PDD roots, 12v. From a logical standpoint, not everyone can work on or diagnose a fummins, figure out how to find parts for a 60’s era car with a Cummins, or chase wires on a 10 year old common rail truck. Keep true to the all go, no show mentality with a 2nd gen 12v for a giveaway vehicle. All basic replacement parts are readily available, plenty of folks know how these engines work, and it keeps true to what PDD was established on. 12 valves. You could even serialize each vehicle for future generation collectors.
Build another Agnes, actually I'm sure whatever you build...........people will be happy to hear their name called for it! Awesome build guys, looks like they'll enjoy the hell outta Agnes in Texas
Well I just graduated and got my nursing license this month and have my first job lined up, been watching your videos since before I got into school and want nothing more than to have y'all build my dream truck, a compound 12 valve manual transmission excursion. Already have the excursion and the go ahead from my lady. Gonna save up some cash to hand over upfront. Not sure if it would be a cool video to make but your more than welcome to make some content about it. Can't wait to make that drive up from Texas to get it started 🤟
Great build guys! Love the content too. The all GO no show give away was fun to watch and having my 20 bucks in on it too made you feel mor apart of it. But for me an All TOW no show would suit me better. So a crew cab for the family or the help would fit the bill nicely. I wouldn't have taken the cash either. Lol..
@@pddofficial yup, im sure there more working families and ppl who use there trucks for more than grocerie getters out there. So a 500-600 HP reliable rig capable of towing 25K plus would be my vote. Thanks for all the content you and your guys put out.
I am happy for the winner and I hope he feels the same about that truck as I do about mine, my 2007 Ram 3500 dully is never going anywhere but with me, maybe one day when it just a motor and frame she might get retired but not until then.
I’d like to see you build a max effort, four wheel drive street strip common rail truck. Like a third or fourth gen with Hamilton performance 6.7 wet block and head, all Hamilton’s newest rotating assembly and valve train. Max effort 48re, like a solid 1200+ hp truck you could legit daily drive. I know it would be expensive, but make the lottery last longer until you can sell plenty of parts to justify giving away a build like that. Either way, love the channel! Particularly the content on Josh’s truck and other common rails. Keep up the good work!
04-07 common rail truck. But before any giveaway would like to see it head to head with 12v of the same power ratings with multiple passes and drivers in each (get true data on what's better 12v or common rail) Also say do some true daily working exercises with them (towing, hauling, pulling, running accessories ((compressors, generators, ect)). Maybe even some dual rear wheel trucks. I dont know all your stuff is cool. I think a 5.9 in something like a Dakota would be cool. Then turn it up just to see what the Dakota can handle (that should be funny) and maybe compare it to the s10 and ranger lol. Again I think everything you guys build is cool. So keep up the awesome work.
Stack of cash... $25k... Justin called it, IMO. Very nice truck. No wrench time, just drive and enjoy. I wrench on my stuff because I can't afford to pay someone. I end up with a bunch of tools that see little use.
I would have probably taken the cash. My dream truck is a long bed Bull nose or earlier Ford with a P pump 12v, and an unsynchronized manual transmission with an auxiliary. And before you ask why, because unsynchronized transmissions feel so nice to shift once you learn to do it consistently, and an auxiliary because twin stick. I'll build that eventually, but I would get a lot more out of $20k, especially right now.
They are fun to look at, but hell to ride in. All steel cab, it's like riding in the engine bay. No amount of dyna mat can over come that kind of noise.
Hey guys! This was a cool! Show us more builds like that! Wit some cool drama at the end like that! Keep up the good work anyway! I am a John Deere 6.8l engine guy, but love to see your 5.9l/6.7l cummins content! Thanks greez
Build a 94-95 international dt530 they used p-pumps those two years, their blocks and cranks are damn near indestructible and stock head bolts will take 100 lbs of boost if you don't go nuts with the timing. That's something I wouldn't mind winning!! That or do something with a 4bt;
Yall should do a late 90s Cadillac catera and put a Cummins in it a guy where near me has a tubed catera he has set up for drag racing and it looks awsome and unique/original
I have a Freightliner FL70 service truck with a p pump 12 valve. I think it would be really cool to see you build a motor that can move a 21,000 pound truck everyday. Something a guy can rely on, but would be able pull a hill faster than a diesel Luv.
We've worked on those before, they are too heavy to get away with the typical fuel plate delete mods or whatever the kids think is cool today. At that weight, definitely need to add air if you plan to add power to keep it reliable. Factory engine with 4k governor springs, AFC LIVE, moderate timing advance, and PDD ultimate towing compounds and that FL70 would come to life!
