Say, I have a question about building there. Are you allowed to construct a pier that leads into the lake? If I wanted something that went out like 20 feet into the lake, where I'd have my sailboat tied up, is that okay? Also, can one get electricity, Internet and gas lines set up here, and how much do you think that would cost? I love the isolated nature of this spot.
You cannot build piers in Maine, temporary docks are allowed. This is not a lake for a sail boat. It is too small and shallow and has no boat landing.

Yes, building setback is 100 feet and only a certain percentage of the land can be cleared near the water.
Shore land Zone is 250 from water but you can build within that. There are tree clearing limits. Can’t whack it all out for a lawn and views.

I follow all your shows. Love them, BUT , Please why do you keep calling a shallow small pond a Lake? Lake Front Property etc. To me, a lake is Big, Deep, cold water with Trout ! I'm a Trout Fisherman, so I look for someplace I can Fly Fish or Spinning Rod for Trout.. lol

How do you know you could park an RV? How far to the nearest decent size town / city with things like grocery stores, malls, hardware stores, etc.? How deep is the lake? Do you have any idea the price for connecting the electric & water?
There are no restrictions on RV or campers. The nearest town of any size is Lincoln about 30 miles west of the land. The lake is not well documented on depths but averages about 4 feet. Connecting power here would cost more than the land. Water would need to be either pumped from the lake or a drilled well probably about $3,000 to $5000 +/- for the well.
What are the laws up there about camping on your property??
