Well, it's bound to happen eventually. When your characters develop to a certain point you either end the show because they have nowhere to go, add in new main characters, or regress your characters so they can relearn stuff they already learned ages ago. Point 2 is how we got Starlight and eventually the School 6.
@@kyuubinaruto17 But that episode was not even regressing to relearn the same thing. It was making her forget the very core of her character. Pinky Pie was making a better job at farming in magical mystery cure!

"Why do the show hates Applejack?" Why don't you? "Without working a day in their life RARITY!" Rarity has been working since she was a child, just because she works in what she loves (and can find precious gem whenever she wants) doesn't mean it is not work.

2:37 Come on I think it's a pretty good disguise. All she has to do is cover her rainbow hair and disguise her voice and she could easily pull off being any other blue pony.

For some reason the writers think that to make an episode with a moral about honesty, farming, or family-ing, they have to make Applejack bad at it first, which just makes her seem like she's really not good at anything she's known for.
3:21 i like to imagine that this was 1. slightly out of spite/passive-aggressiveness and/or 2. she is reliable and responsible, not trying to keep applejack away for longer than she thinks and letting her stick to the original agreement. rarity acts more like applejack in this episode than applejack herself!
The only reason I can think of having pigs on an Equestrian farm would be for truffle hunting or being adorable, and they already have Winona for both of those. This comment shows just how much of a city-slicker I really am.

The first word he said in the video “Take a hint, Rarity-“
I was like: “TAKE A HINT! TAKE A HINT!~🎵🎶✨”😭😭
2:23 That face 😂it’s actually so adorable tho
To be honest, to me this episode always kinda felt like a repeat of "Green Isn't Your Color"...you know in terms of Rarity wanting to spend time with a friend at the spa and all that.
Darling darling darlingdaaaarling
*Translation*
Keep up with the amazing content
Honestly, I am kind of surprised when Applejack makes that face😂
Cinimaresins prove that people still make MLP related content and this knowledge makes me happy.
I wonder if AJ's family ever noticed her time-wasting shenanigans. Would they think its all good or are they too embarrased to tell AJ she's doing it all wrong?
2:01 *ding* Rainbow Dash could’ve just been faking her fear.
Oh my god, I'm soooooooo excited. Flutter Brutter is my favorite episode of Season 6! I can't wait for this video! There will never be a pony like the ridiculous Zeph. It's gonna be so much fun.
I wish we got more actually GOOD Applejack episodes
6:28 That moment when you realize your Cutie Mark lie! Either that, or she needs the CMC to help her rediscover her true talent.
This episode finally gave us canonical accents for the Spa twins.
This episode, and Spike at your service are pretty much character assassinations
I think This Episode is worth watching, JUST for watching Applejack act like a Chicken and making Faces at The Pigs, and Rainbow Dash getting caught going to The Spa.
The Rest of The Episode, Not so much. I actually usually skip This Episode when wanting too watch MLP.
Applejack's "Day Off".
Twilight and Spike's "Day On".
Yup.
Applejack was and still is my favorite character so this episode hurt to watch....
the ads- double unskippable, plays perfectly clear with no lag
the video as soon as i finally get to it- huge amount of lag, cruddy quality, 1fps framerate, audio with no video, etc etc
repeat 2 or 3 times with me refreshing the page and even restarting my whole computer and finally yt stops being a bish an lets me watch the video normally
...
thanks a lot yt -_-
As far as I'm aware UA-cam doesn't show multiple unskippable ads. When they do show an unskippable ad, it shouldn't be longer than 20 seconds. It sounds like there may be an issue with your computer especially with all of the lag and frame dropping you describe. It's possible your browser was hijacked by some kind of malware to show malicious advertising which isn't from UA-cam. I recommend a scan with something reputable like Malwarebytes.
Honestly, Littleshy is keeping my faith in the Brony community alive. Love this man's content too.
I gotta catch up on this series, fell out of it for a season.
A: Pigs eat leftovers and make fertilizer. Useful on a farm.
B: Anypony wonder exactly where Rarity is keeping that pocket watch when she has no pockets? 🤭
💚🐇🐴💚
5:17 why does everyone assume Ponish doesn’t just naturally sound like English?
As a fan of Applejack, I HATED how this episode made her out to be such an incompetant. Surely there was other way to teach that lesson than showing that AJ can't even farm good.
@Hadeshy sorry for the late comment , but ikr? If I were Hasbro, I would've made AJ the SOLUTION to the problem instead, cuz it makes more sense (in my mind).
One weird thing is the title.
Applejack's "Day Off": Would imply that it wasn't a day off, even though it seemed like it
Applejack's "Day" Off: Makes it sound like the "day" part was a lie, and it was actually a night off, or a week off.
Aj: is a Karen
Also Karen’s r usually blonde and so is aj
Rd: 🎼rainbow dash always dresses in style🎼
I never noticed this stuff before so I think it’s pretty cool that he spotted all of this that might’ve been a lot of work
"Why do the show hates Applejack?" Why don't you?
"Without working a day in their life RARITY!" Rarity has been working since she was a child, just because she works in what she loves (and can find precious gem whenever she wants) doesn't mean it is not work.
I still don't know how someone in the writers room thought this was okay to be turned into an episode.
right 💀
@@MidnightMuffin idk-
dude out here time travelling lol
On your marks: plot hinges upon Apple bloom being a dum dum
Applejack’s day off: plot hinges upon applejack being a dum dum
For those who don’t know at 2:13 the guy said change wing witch is a reference to how to train your Dragon the change wing is a dragon that mimics and changes colers
alright seeya in a month folks
“Darling?”
“Darling, darling.”
“Darling.”
“Darling!”
In my head canon, Ponish is just English with a different name. Plus that name doesn't make sense for non-pony characters anyways.
I opened UA-cam this morning wondering when the next Cinemare Sins video was coming out 😆
4:55 That line pertains more to this episode than the show.
7:00
If that was what he said im the actual episode i would be both confused and laughing
I’m just gonna say it: the show definitely saw a slight dip in quality once Amy Keating Rogers left at the end of season 5.
It was also when MA Larson left as story editor 😭
This Episode exists because we needed an excuse to put AJ and Rarity in the same episode
0:56 *Ding* Missed opportunity to say “Let’s not foal ourselves”
Oh Lord you know you’re in trouble when SPIKE is the most reasonable😂😂
Who's a silly pony?
Madatory "Who's a silly pony?" aside... The lesson in this episode is one of the best ones (in my opnion at least)!
Whoa dude, I watched your videos 8 years ago. Aesthetics and quality increased a ton, not that that's surprising, keep it up!
We have now discovered that pony iq is unstable differing each episod
0:51 I think that's actually in-character for Applejack, considering that in Applebuck Season, she stops bucking apples (her main priority) to help out her friends. Makes sense she would help Twilight and Spike instead of just doing her chores.
2:37 Come on I think it's a pretty good disguise. All she has to do is cover her rainbow hair and disguise her voice and she could easily pull off being any other blue pony.
6:48 Well, I guess we know which way the Common Sense Switch was flipped in this episode.
The Werefrog love the running joke of Spike being the smart one, with how often that joke gets made.
"One look at the list should've convinced Twilight that Applejack is not right in the head."
Yeah, but can we say in good conscience that ANY of them have EVER been right in the head? Lol!
It’s officially time you get your own sin so,
In earlier episodes you had Spike’s dialogue colored green but now it’s purple…kinda like his egg. Cinamare Sins: 2,748 - Commenters: 1
You forgot to sin the fact that Rarity and Twilight think that Applejack is actually a unicorn and continue to show her how to turn all the wheels of the pipes at the same time using magic, also how to effortlessly change the wire fence, oh wait- in order to do to that you need magic as well :)
This is the perfect representation of *the element of honesty*
For some reason the writers think that to make an episode with a moral about honesty, farming, or family-ing, they have to make Applejack bad at it first, which just makes her seem like she's really not good at anything she's known for.
3:21 i like to imagine that this was 1. slightly out of spite/passive-aggressiveness and/or 2. she is reliable and responsible, not trying to keep applejack away for longer than she thinks and letting her stick to the original agreement. rarity acts more like applejack in this episode than applejack herself!
In a spa, there's one person that you DO NOT ever touch her feet, it's Toph.
Ah yes one of the most bland/boring/not bad episodes of the series.
Yeah.
It only does the show hate applejack, the toys do too
I love these videos so much, they’re so enjoyable to watch lmao
Wait, why does Sweet Apple Acres have pigs anyway? The ponies are vegetarian, dragons eat gems, are they for selling to griffons? Maybe they’re pets?
Apparently a writer said the pigs find truffles?
The only reason I can think of having pigs on an Equestrian farm would be for truffle hunting or being adorable, and they already have Winona for both of those. This comment shows just how much of a city-slicker I really am.
Horses will occasionally eat meat to supplement their diets.
Granted it's usually birds but pigs work too :P
I can't remember what it was anymore (because it was so long ago), but this episode made me realize I was doing something unnecessary that was a fix for a problem that no longer existed.
Ohmygosh A LittleshyFim video and I missed its release!
Also November comes my favorite mlp episode (Stranger than fanfiction)! I will make sure not to miss that one's release!
4:35
Trough is right next to the fence where food could easily be dumped in from the OUTSIDE of the pen. **Ding**
I don't know why the Applejack chicken dance came after the callback to Spoon drawer line is so funny but it is and I love it.
this is just. an episode.
this is so far my favourite video from ur channel
