I’m still figuring out my system, but I’ve figured out I need two monthlies, a vertical weeks and a horizontal weeks then a regular notebook for my dailies. I’m 98% convinced to just go all in on the booklets rather than the full year common planners I’ve been thinking about for months. Part of me just can’t let go of the idea of a single book though…
That's such a hard decision. A full book is just so nice and comforting and easy to archive. But the booklets are lighter and you can kind of create your own system with all the same components which is nice. I think either is great but do love the ides of the two monthlies plus the two weeklies and the notebook for dailies. Would you be getting standard or passport?
I wish I had known she would be coming out with the inserts before the regular 2024 planner presale. I think I would have preferred them for the same reason you mentioned - being able to mix and match them. Honestly though, it probably wouldn't have mattered. I don't think I was at all ready for all the presales. 😅 I was definitely overwhelmed and found it very difficult to try and figure out what I'm going to need/want next year.
I understand. There’s so many good options and lots of things are just so beautiful! And luckily destashing ones we over preordered won’t be too hard ☺️ Making a list of what you need in your planner. What style you really prefer. How portable you need it. All helps narrow down what you need to find the right fit.
@Cosmos0000 Sterling Ink has a UA-cam channel and she uploads what and when she has new products, if that helps with your decision making on the planners you’re looking to use.
Yes she does and I do my best to share them here too. Many of the other brands do as well. Though sometimes that makes the decision harder because they are all so beautiful though they don't always fit the bill.
I think the a6 size as a budget spending finance planner! Like mark all the paydays, bill dates, quarterly no spend goals. Then us the 18 pages as a ledger. Just write down everything you spent
Love them all. I purchased passport sized in Black linen in monthly and the Blue Mist in vertical weekly. Will go into my new passport wallet from Handstitched Leather T in her Bone leather, which is why I did not go with the Caramel leatherette, I think they would clash. I have not received my weekly inserts yet, I think they might be lost.....but I am eagerly awaiting them.
I don't think she ever had the halfway dot on the vertical sides of the passport because I have some of the original passport notebooks and they don't have them either. Also, there are 29 squares vertically so the mid-point is not on a line. Most of the notebooks seem to only have dots if the box count is even.
It is a great size and it will always be a happy place for me. If W222 made the A5 I have in B6 that’s what I’d be using but since this style is only in A5 and I’ve used it before and like it a lot I’m ok with it. Always need A5 for work. But I also am having fun being back in A6 again.
I have the passport weekly booklets in the caramel cover so I can write my daily verse in a little book and keep it in my archive. Then I have two A5 monthly books - one for finances and one for health and wellness.

I got a passport size for my wallet/passport set up so I can have an 'on the go' planner - I got a weekly and a monthly. I am looking forward to having it as a 'supplement' in my wallet so I ALWAYS have things at a glance!!!

Could you check if there is any overlap between the two booklets? maybe like the last week of June and first week of July in BOTH booklets? I am a university student that takes summer classes and the booklet being divided into two half years seems to be the only thing that I'mnot sure about. Also, do you have posted anythwere how you're using the hobonichi weekly supplimetn as a wellness planner? I would love to see it for inspiration!
I’m so glad you found it helpful. No the weeks don’t cross over - partly because this year June ends on a Sunday and July starts on a Monday so there’s no cross-over/combo week. But they are so thin carrying both for a bit won’t bulk up your system. 😃 I think I’ve shared it a little on IG. But not much. But it’s inspired by moonlight planning and she shares here’s a lot here and on IG
You mean a cover without elastics? For what size/style passport notebooks/inserts - thick or thin? I actually have a few recent videos on some covers. Let me know and I can give some suggestions.
@@VeganOrganizer it’s definitely an option for sure. I’m not personally a fan of their covers but I know many love them. But it’s a good option if you like faux leather and need elastics for the TN inserts. There’s some good leather options as well. And some good options for thicker passport notebooks and planners too.
@@JustScribble Ah, I love Aura Estelle - I'm using the new passport design with a 520 page Sterling Ink notebook (not using elastics, just the folio covers) and it fits beautifully.

I just bought the Sterling Ink passport size monthly and two half year weekly booklets to carry in my purse everyday ( I will be carrying the monthly and one of the half year weekly ones, so about 136 pages). I don’t like the travelers style with the bands and would rather insert the covers in the cover.
