These Sterling Ink booklets are like Pokémon: Gotta catch ‘em all! 😂 I ordered some of the undated grid inserts as well. Love the 4 mm grid and the margins! Still staying strong and not ordering anything dated for 2024 besides Hobonichi so far, though.

Yeah, I'm already regretting my haul 😅 I think I will try to sell the weeklies... I don't have a good enough reason/use for them for what they are worth so I feel bad spending so much money 😬 But the notebooks and the monthly I will keep and use so it wasn't a total waste. I just got a bit overly excited 😂 But it will be okay - or it is okay 🤭
Trying to explain things to others and rewatching that while editing usually makes me realize something about my system 😅 I decided to stick to my pocket TN so then I don't have a need for a passport size weekly. I can keep using the Hobonichi Weekly which is so much cheaper 👍🏼 And as I noticed in the video, using a 6 month weekly doesn't even save space like I was hoping for.

@@Katiplans Oh, I understand! These dated booklets are a constant temptation dangling in front of my nose 😂 But after my Hobonichi orders, I really don’t need anything dated for 2024 anymore except maybe a new Weekly Notebook from PaperTess Designs - and even there, I could use her undated TN inserts instead… (Yes, I keep writing that to tell that to myself. Maybe I should just make a 2024 lineup video for that very reason… 😅) I do believe that the dated Sterling Ink inserts will be fairly easy to sell, though. (Also, why keep the monthly when you’ve got the cute Midori one as well? Like I mentioned, I was tempted by that, too, but I talked myself out of it because I don‘t need it.)

I'm keeping the monthly because I have a plan for it and I want to try it out. And it's the cheapest of the dated ones, so I don't feel so bad if it doesn't work out. For the Midori I already have two other uses, so I'm using that too 👍🏼 So two monthlies with a layout I don't like but I'm making it work 😅

I love these new booklets. I talked thru on my unboxing/review ways that I would use them. I think they are really versatile. Plus they come in passport which really needed some good love :)

I did watch your review while I was waiting for my package to arrive 👍🏼
And yes, that was what got me excited - the passport size. I still wish there would be a monthly option with a horizontal layout, but sadly that's apparently not so popular. I have it in the monthly on the quarterly pages, but if I would have it also on the monthly pages, that would be a dream for me. But I will try it on the note pages. Don't know yet if it will be too small for me to see properly 😅

That sounds great 👍🏼 I also enjoy making my own notebooks - especially for smaller TN's. 🙂

I didn’t know Sterling sold passport size notebooks so thank you for showing them. Is the paper color similar to a weeks (almost white) or is it more of a cream color?

Compared to the Hobonichi Weeks the Sterling Ink booklets look white and the old Tomoe River on the Weeks looks definitely cream. But if I compare the Sterling ink booklet paper to plain white copy paper, it again looks cream. I think it is a nice mildly cream white. Hope that helps 😅

Oh yes they have several booklet sizes (passport is my favorite)...and they have a passport planner too in both horizontal and vertical sizes!

It’s called Hobonichi Weekly Calendar. You can find it on their site in the Accessories section. It’s not part of their planner lineup. It’s meant to be used as a sidekick for the A6 techo which doesn’t have any weekly pages, but it’s awesome by itself as a light and small weekly planner.
