When I left school my first job was on a farm in the village of Hoveringham where these lorries were based. I would see them every day coming and going from the quarry, they also had four and six wheelers. My favourite was the eight wheeled brakedown scammell that I beleive was powered by a diesel 2-stroke engine. Thank you for the memories Paul and for the time put into your videos. 👍

My grandmother bought me this “Tipper” model in mid ‘60s. It was great to see such a pristine restoration. I too, but as a child, used a nail to fix the box hinge … but far less elegantly. 🙂
