Awesome vid…super cool seeing freshwater Snook. By the way, that white frog is a Stanley ribbit frog. They work great on Northern Snakeheads here in Virginia
Supper cool seeing some of my old haunts. Having grown up off river land during late 70s through the 90s crushed some big studs outta the river, and 84. And the landscape keeps changing down there. Thanks Keep sharing!!!
Fun video, great footage! The way you connect with the fish and care for them is beautiful. Another video that keeps me tuned in and looking forward to more! I was literally waiting all day for this to come out! LOL
What's going on bud. Awesome work on the video and the editing. Enjoyed your content. I just subscribed to your channel for future videos. Keep up the great work. Tight lines.
Sometimes I dedicate days to search for new spots. You can go on google maps and find an area you think might hold fish and then go try it. Sometimes you get em, sometimes you don’t but the only way to figure out new spots is to get out there and try.
They are invasive but there’s different opinions on how detrimental they are to the native species. It’s legal to let them go as long as you don’t transport them to release them. I wasn’t going to eat this one so I personally couldn’t kill it just to kill it.
Last I checked it’s legal to release them as long as it’s the same body of water you caught them in. They might have changed the law recently though, I’m not too sure.

Aren't snakeheads an invasive fish and need to be taken out of the canals?

I've fished further east and done well, I guess I need to try out west on that canal.
Give it a shot 🙌

Last I checked it’s legal to release them as long as it’s the same body of water you caught them in. They might have changed the law recently though, I’m not too sure.

My dawg! 💥🙏
Mullet are in freshwater too lol
Yeah that’s true
Great video buddy! I love how much you take care of the fish before you release them. Shows a lot about your character! PS. Put a shirt on
Haha thanks bud! You know I love the fish lol and you know I take my shirt off just for you
How much for a trip?
I’m a local…
I’m not a guide unfortunately
What is the canoe name
It’s called a custom gheenoe LT 25
Do you charter
No I don’t
Damn son, how much tren are those fish taking? Also how much are you taking? lol
Haha I can’t speak for the fish but none of that for me
Would’ve been cool to watch, but you have your shirt off the whole time, weird and inappropriate.
That snake was about 5lbs, 6 tops
You might be right. Wasn’t quite as big as I thought looking back
They always seem bigger than you think until you put em in a scale. lol!
Facts!
Snake head is not a fish you want to throw back they are destroying everything
Yeah I hear ya. I just don’t have the heart to kill them if I’m not going to eat them.
