  • Interested in Full time RV Living? Selling your sticks and bricks to go full time? Check out these 9 states that have ZERO state income tax. If you are traveling around the country (or have the flexibility to move anywhere), you can choose to live in one of these 9 states that have no state income tax.
Check out this episode to help you start down the path of where to set up your residency. We did a ton of research and found out that it really depends on your personal situation. We will answer enough questions you may have to get you started on the research needed to make this decision. The biggest factors are: How often will you be in that state? Have you already purchased your RV? How are you planning on getting mail? State Income tax, vehicle registration, things to see, and hassle factor all need to be taken into consideration.
We hope this helps clear up the questions you might have. Feel free to ask more questions below.

Great information! Love Washington! I sure hope you video the planning and building process. That would be so cool to see as well. Great video! Merry Christmas!

Dean Webster yeah, we will probably have weekly updates through out the process. We have designed tons of houses but never on UA-cam. Should be fun.

We are currently full time RVing in Washington. We are from Alaska and I did full time RV life there for a year before we moved down to the lower 48. It is NOT for the faint of heart. Even living in a house, you have to be a certain kind of person to live there.

Medical insurance should always be a consideration. One car accident can ruin your income and raise your debt exponentially. Anyone, any age, can wind up needing life long medical care.

We are full-timers who also run our own UA-cam channel. We are so glad we found your channel as we are looking to move our domicile to another state income tax free state. We definitely needed to hear your story. I think we will choose a state which makes this transfer quick and painless. :) Thanks so much for sharing! We hit the red button and rang the bell. We will be following!

GrassRoots Living sounds great! Most people choose Texas or South Dakota. Much easier than Washington. We are thinking about throwing down some roots in this area, otherwise it would probably be SD. Happy travels!

@@Platt365 We have narrowed it down to SD or Nevada. We have friends in NV that would help as we lived there for 10 years. I have family in Washington but we just ruled it out after watching your video. Our grandkids live in Northern Missouri so South Dakota might be a great option. Thanks again. :)

And now Washington State is trying to pass state income taxes, carbon tax, gas tax increase, capital gains tax, property tax increase. Last year they increased taxes by 3.1 BILLION dollars. My wife and I are going to become full timers soon and become TEXANS!

    So why not Texas?

Texas is a great option for full time rvers. We chose Washington because we love the landscape and we have friends and family here (and no state income tax)

I'm currently in Texas, born and raised, and planning on moving to Washington. Texas isn't the same anymore, housing and land prices are going through the roof because of all the people moving in, it's no longer Inexpensive like it used to be.

My first step would have been to write off any blue states on the list first. The guns and the beer in Washington state are watered down. It is after all a blue state. Go to Texas unless of course you are democrats and then in that case stay the heck out of Texas.

Texas is a great option. Best for full time for sure.
