Imagine if someone steals that car while you are sleeping in the roof tent.
LOL
john sun 😬😬
Lmao
Imagine if someone steals your engine whenever you park your Wrangler.
It would be ride of your life. Literally
I am a jeeper. Owning a jeep is like a relationship. You have to commit. You have to accept the Jeep for what it is. It’s a lifestyle that no other car can compare. It’s an amazing experience
Until your driving 70 down the motorway lol
It aint that deep
True, except a Jeep Wrangler is not a car, it's a body on frame design just like a full-size pickup, therefore it is a SUV.
Defender better
@@ryanbell4952 as an 8year time served Landrover Engineer i can hands down Agreeto the older defender, however the new defender? Absolute pile of crap.
Feels like I am watching a soccer player reviewing a jeep, he gets hurt by everything
Jack Wilshere that is
He looks like one

@@gaurav7835 yes
Yeah he's moaning a lot for no reason at all.
The straps on the backs of the seats aren’t decoration-they’re for utility bags, holsters, etc, that loop behind the straps.
10/10 recommendation of watching in landscape instead of portrait

love you guys 😍😍
I couldn't believe that you were featured in here. I love your channel and can't wait to try out Cliche Corner myself, it's only like 10 mins away from me!

carwow lol the pink and blue ones
Need pink please
07:22 looks like molle webbing
Pink was better....But he broke it.... Just by throwing it. Was it used for carrying items??
"The digital screen is not as configurable and high end as in a Mercedes G-Class". Thank God!
That's British!!
Wrangler for the win... Kolokotronis would agree!!!
A Mercedes G Class won't go far on a gallon of fuel and it costs nearly twice as much.
Nigga you talking as if you own one
@@demon6831 that's American
in my opinion you can't compare a Mercedes G to a Jeep ...
A Jeep is much more hardcore and practical than a G
if you can get the militairy version of the g wangon without all the luxury fetures i have heard it is a beast
@Flynn_Rocky61 That's a deep down truly rightful and an appropriate answer
@@yeout4386 There's no such thing as a "military version" of the G-Class available for sale to the public + the G-Class no longer comes in a 2-Door form. The only true off-roader left is the Wrangler.
To everyone saying the window switches aren't on the door becuase you can take the door off...Well to remove the doors you have to unclip the wires for the electric window motors which ARE in the doors. So it's not beyond the wit of Jeep to have housed the switches there too.
Well they avoided that to save money ofcourse........ STONKS.......
No need at all to make the doors heavier than they already are.
Window controls are not on doors bcoz doors are removable
If i removed my car's doors i seriously wont want the switches to be on them so they wont be damged in storage
All your comparisons of the jeep to the other cars are off point, non of them are in the same category .
Not the G class not the land cruiser are in the same class
8:20 Mat is watching the Straight Pipes! Love both your channels
i completely messed up and put 9:30
May ask, why did you purchased a JW? 🤔
Yeah...I can see him really liking pipes 😂😂😂
Throttle house??????
Anyone????
Ridicter Gaming throttle house has the best intros 10/10
Window controls are in the center because it is designed so you can take partial doors off.
For example, if you want to take the front or driver doors off, but keep the rear or passenger doors, you still need a way to access your other windows, so they are in the center where everything is accessible at all times.

Windows switches are not on the door, because the doors are removable.
Milad Homayoun but if you remove the doors you wouldn’t have windows
So putting the switches on the doors wouldn’t make a difference
@@alexbunn1905 Window switches are not wireless.İf they put it on the doors removing is going to be a hard situation.
All car doors are removable lol;)
Exactly i was just bout to say this i thought 4 sure he knew bout that 😫
@@polarweis If you think like that, then all engines are removable too
90 percent of comments: window switches not in the door as door is removable
But they still could have placed them in the door. You see, they still have to run wires to the door no matter what, because you still need to power the electric motor for the windows.
Window switches are more likely to get wet if on the top of the door cards like in recent land rover/range rover products. I prefer them in the middle for an off roader
I was about to write the same but I saw your comment... lol
I saw the same thing on Doug Demuro's Wrangler video.
Proof of how fucking unintelligent most people are. It's actually depressing.
Just stumbled on this channel. I love how informative this video is, but still super entertaining with just the right amount of humour, not overdone. A+
This car sales man is next level. It sounds really convincing at 11:38
Mat,
When you have the top down, doors off and are cruising down the road/trail, it's quite hard to get a normal lighter to stay lit - enter the dash mounted cigarette lighter. The blunt must go on, Mat.

Ah yes... carwow the place that compares a jeep to a Mercedes in terms of interior quality...
Lol true. But it’s just what he drives. He doesn’t know better lol
@@sethbender2863 But its more than double its price so how can you justify the comparison?
Car vloggers with European and Australian accents always dissed American and Japanese cars so easily. They are always ecstatic with their expensive European brands that would cost a fortune to maintain if you could drive it without breaking down in the first place. There is a funny saying inside the rich Asian circle buying European brands. It goes like this: Whenever you buy a very expensive European car make sure you buy a Japanese car as backup in case the former won't start in the morning.
@@qwertyzxcv123 You're dumb, japanese cars are known for their quality they make the best quality cars. Its only american cars that are getting hate cuz they only focus on power nothing more
And a guy who reviews a Wrangler and doesn't understand why controls aren't on the doors. :/
The love these channels keep showing eachada jst makes me want to be a little bit of a better person!! Just saw jakub and Yuri!
If I had this car I would have to have the Jurassic Park stickers on the doors. It’s a must for me.
And sahara beige color ;)
mrnicktoyou same...
That's why you don't have!
I thought the same 😭
and that sir would be the reason why you go for lunch at school alone
1:17 brand new Wrangler, paints already chipping... definitely still a proper Jeep.
BLOODY HELL
The Catmother FIAT quality build in America...
yeah but that's the door hinge and its so exposed i am pretty sure mine chipped in the first few weeks but the paint on the rest of my jeep is holding out fine and i have had thick tree branches drag across it lol and no scratches
How do you know its a factory issue? It's probably from off-roading.
thats the most retarded comment ever
Fingering the socket is a bit adult rated.
matt keep it up. your reviews are spot on!
To all of those saying, that the window switches aren't on the door because the doors are removable: they still run wires to the door because you still need to power the electric motor that moves the windows, so you could have placed the switches there without a problem.
So if you removed only the driver door, how would you open the rear windows from the driver seat since the driver door always has all four window switches on it? Also, if you are sitting in the rear you can reach to open the opposite side window without reaching across to the opposite door. There are justifiable reasons to put them in a common place.
Chrysler used to do this on a lot of their cars, even ones that have non-removable doors- its just a cheaper-to-make-it-that-way Chrysler-ism. They stopped doing it on almost all of their vehicles except the Jeep Wrangler, but the Jeep Wrangler doesn't get major re-designs often.
To explain it better. The widow controls are in the middle because you might remove only some of the doors not all. Also since the doors are removable it's less durable to have the switches on them.
Perfect for these Indian roads! It's off road all day, any day over here!
I was in Dehli one time, but u drive road cars for some reason is have seen...
Matt the *decoration thingy* on the back of the front seats is for molle attachments
I love your channel and your content mate! Please keep it up!
I think carwow needs its own music to test the sound system
MAKE SOME SONGS
Matt should sing
Or use some non copyright music
"Strap thing" on 7:22 are known as Molle webbing used to attach military style pockets and accessories and is, when You think of it, a rather clever idea for an off-roader!
Very nice. Recently rode in a 2017 model and posted a video, absolutely loved it!
Those are removable doors, that's why they don't put the switchers there
Well if you remove the door then you haven't got windows to worry about lol
But if you remove just the front doors and leave the rear on..and you want to open the windows in the back...switches in the center make sense
When you take off the door you still need to remove the electronic harness for the window so you mind just have each window switch on each door and all 4 on driver and passenger like every normal car
@@squeakers27 it would be a hassle for the company to make sure that they waterproof every single corner/space for the knob placed on the door. It is so much easier and less confusing this way
@eljant kurti You imbecile, the electronics (the whole mechanism for operating the windows) is already in the door.
I very much like that they include both normal USB A and USB C connections, that is an unusual bit of forward thinking. Car manufacturers always seem to be a decade behind when it comes to tech.
8:20 lol legendary
Oh my gosh! We need this on our Wrangler! It would be great to use when we’re out
Making our UA-cam videos in the backroads.
Love love this as a mommy car of 2 boys!!!! So simple and easy to maintain. Love the fact that the window controllers are reachable from the drivers seat (crazy boys not having control of it)
But it has a 1 star safety rating wtf
@@eminem2996 only the poor indian version. Not their.
I feel the one thing you missed on cool things, is the fact that they supply all the tools you need and places to store the bolts when you disassemble your car!
Wow wow, I love that jeep with tent on top, it can take us to go camping anywhere, any time, in any road conditions.
The "there we go" at 14:38 has me dead everytime
This is not just a great offroader, this is the "Greatest Offroader" 😎😎😎
Dang? How long has it been since Mat review a freakin Jeep?
I also love and support Straight Pipes, Thanks Matt to include them.
I’m extremely interested in the Wrangler, and after watching this my obsession drove into the next level😅 So thank you! The way you present is so fascinating!
I've never fallen in love with a car until now.
Same.
"you can fit a glock in there"
i cracked
Well... it can also fit a [taken apart] AK-47
1911. 45 ACP. American all the way.
the window switch's are by the Audio unit to make the doors more weather proof and the outside mirrors are hard to fold in because when going through bush/trees they wont get knocked in...
I was waiting for this for so long!
Go on cool off-road road trip with the G-Class
Inception: Matt's stick of truth becomes straight after watching the straight pipes in landscape mode ;)
Loveson
The straps on the back of the front seats look like molle webbing, which are used for storage pouches, modular panels and other tactical applicications(molle is commonly used in military gear)
The doors come off! That explains the window control! 😉
Plz review the new jaguar xe2019
Those straps on the back of the seats are a standard organizational system used by a lot of military gear and camping companies- you can get like pouches and knife holsters and... idk other pouches I guess? Lol but it’s a thing.
Molle style
Great review Matt!
Well done. Educational and entertaining.
Love the jeep, but the first mod I would make would be a new front bumper to replace that duck bill up there. Also whens the tug of war with the g63 happening then?
its happened already i think mate he posted a tug of war between the g63 and 2 other cars cant remember which tho
@@omarbukhary Nah that was a Bentley and a Porsche
Not as prominent in the US market; or maybe it was just the optical effect from the wide angle camera lens...
8:18 even matt watches the straight pipes 😂😂
Have to say, life or somthing like that, was beating on me abit to hard and my sister got some gig where they exchanged a nice 4 door sierra for her vehical for abit and I got to witness these easter eggs and I knew that was quality! Almost as if it was the first company I seen that had a heart and wasn't just about sales and products you could never have or own! Those details really help! Awesome! Also your work and calling those wheel arches seems fitting because they have thier own style and they look luxurious and yet subtle! Perfect name for those! Lol, wheel arches! I will utilize that!
That thing you see on the wrangler's wind screen is also seen in the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the Ford Ranger
9:40 Sometimes he reminded me of Wallace from Wallace and gromit 😂
Well Matt as much as I enjoy your reviews from across the pound, just have to say here in America your typical American that goes mudding or trailing/overlanding would not want to do it in a G-wagon and if that silly little jimny was sold here we wouldn't want that either. Unfortunately the Wrangler that is exported is not the 3.6L. Also anyone that gets into or out of a Wrangler will not do it so stupidly to hit their head or knees we know what we're buying and never would we pinch ourselves with the shift knob. But on another note-listening to your car reviews I did purchase a Jaguar XF love all the creature comforts and that is the family car-not a Wrangler. Keep up the good reviews.
I think that you do export the 3.6L, as we can buy them in our country
Window controls are in the center because Wranglers allow you to take the doors off. Having the window control on the center makes the door cables simple and easy to connect/disconnect.
1 week to delivery of my 2020 Rubicon, very excited
Are you planning to make a Mercedes GLB review or not?
If you are, I'm looking forward to it!
The window switches ain't on the doors cuz it's a Jeep and the doors are removable so saving you the time of plugging off all the wires just take them doors off
Matt
The window switches are in board on the Jeep Wrangler to reduce weight and electrical connections on the removable doors. It's a Jeep thing!
Very, very, practical and crear review!
Also, why compare the Wrangler to the G63? Jeep did the design first (long before) and of course the AMG intererior is going to be better. I mean, it costs $100,000 - $140,000 more depending on how you spec it. Don't get me wrong, I love the G-Wagon, especially the G63 (not so much the G65), but comparing the AMG to Jeep is not cool.
Exactly, why not compare a Jeep after I throw about $140K worth of upgrades on it, Lmao.
Ya, ya agree with u. Matt should make comparison with suzuki jimny instead. It will make wrangler superior and cool af.
Offroad video wrangler vs g class vs jimny 😀
Sounds like a reasonable comparison for carwow
it really depends on which type of off-road they are gonna compete on, on a nimble and tight track the Jimmy is gonna win, if it's muddy and rallyish type of terrain then G class will take it, if it's extreme terrain requires suspension articulation or rock crawling then the Jeep will take the win in that case
pharaon gaming except G wagon wins all of them easily.
@@niccolomachiavelli8763 you sure m8? Rubicon will beat it at extreme off-road and tiny size of Jimmy will make it easier to manoeuvre in tight and small spaces, and superior power and better handling will make it fastest and best on less extreme off-road
pharaon gaming superior power and better handling? g wagon is 6x more powerful.Gtfo ,the g wagon will beat all of them easy money.
Added to my collection 👍
Mat please review the grand Cherokee trackhawk
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Somehow I always squish my plums when getting out of the back of a 4 door jeep
I just got back from a holiday in the US and these Wranglers are everywhere. Throw a rock you'll hit three. It seems to be a huge success for Jeep, at least it is where I was staying
Hi Mat, Could you please do a review with new Jeep Compass, please. Thank you
Watch the stick of truth go flying at 11:43 when the spinning tire launches it 😂😂😂
That's water
that color on that jeep is wow
Then extra straps that go across the backs of the driver and passenger seats on the JL wrangler are great for strapping Molle bags or pouches too
Soon getting a 2023 rubicon! Can’t wait always been my dream car

Love the European front bumper , you could sit on it
My nest spot neighbour has that exact one rims same couloir sane they’ve got the material and hard top it’s soooooo cool
They’ve got rubicon
I am 6 foot three and it is all in the leg. I have a US spec manual transmission one, I can move the seat back so far but it's uncomfortable to push the clutch in
8:18 @Thestraightpipes!!! Mat, the ONLY two channels I watch :) #carwow #thestraightpipes
Matt watching straight line pipes !!!
i think the strap system to the rear of the seats is the Molle system derived from military webbing.
@ 4:30 True. However, compared to the G Class, the wrangler is relatively affordable and can do everything the G Class can. Additionally, the wrangler has way more accessories to buy and modify you wrangler with to make it a fun big man's toy ;)
8:19 looking at the straight pipes😂😂
*Mat tries to fit a baby seat*
Me: Seriously, who takes babies on off-roading
Again me: Yeah most of the buyers don't take this off-road
Lovely review 🙌
0:55 Square tail lights look super cool... but the similar tail lights on the duster looks bad?
Love the way how it got reviewed! To the point, straight away.
stripes on the back of front seats are not a design feature, it's a molly system - a military system for carrying stuff on a soldier and actually it is pretty useful
No Name he is an idiot
My favourite 4x4 cross over the most so💪
the window switches are placed there because the doors are removable. so the wiring would be an issue, hence why they decided to keep it in the middle.
9:30 , oh no calm down mat
6:24 you scared me ahahah
review the tentbox as well please
First wrangler i saw on your reviews
