If you don’t like this intro, don’t hit me with those negative waves, man
I've done nothing but think positive thoughts about that song, oddball.
Dammit Moriarty

Best clint Eastwood and donald sutherland movie . RIP DONALD SUTHERLAND 🙏 😢 😪
No one has ever been as cool as Eastwood. Great song.
Jay Honeck Word!
Steve McQueen.
He's the best!

Eastwood would've been a great president!

Omg I’m 15 again. So many great memories hearing this song.
what a good memories! I'am 33 by now and I still remember me and my father when i was a kid with our VW dune buggy listening this song over and over
My Dad was in the Battle of Britain (in WW2) and this was his favourite film. I loved the theme song and had the 45rpm single. He's long past but watching this clip brings back memories of him.
One of the best movies ever made!
Yeah my dad likes that film
RIP Oddball!
One of the greats. I grew up with these actors.
One of the few times a whole song was played in the beginning of a movie.... I never noticed that before. Great song and great movie....
Clint Eastwood, in a US army uniform driving a jeep straight through the German army and hardly anyone bats an eye: “You just walk in like you belong. They are so proud of themselves, they don’t even care. They can’t imagine it.”
Actually I think the reality of it was that they were so wet, miserable and tired that they were not paying attention at 100% capacity.
@@strikerdelta Yeah, I was just making another Andor reference.
@@Hibbidyhaithat plus you can't see if they wear *Blue scarves* or not if the guy is tearing ass down the road as well in a most likely requisitioned jeep
This is one of my favorite movies , and I love the music 🎵 !
This is exactly what I was looking for! I just watched this awesome movie on Christmas weekend, and I was hoping to find the intro ALONG with the Mike Curb Congregation singing this song!!
Powerful song with a marching beat and our MAN🇺🇸 Clint Eastwood plowing through the German Army!
🇺🇸🤜💥=🪙💰💰💰
NO remake or sequel EVER needed!
One of the best movie theme songs ever!
George Vreeland Hill
Music to commute to work by in your Jeep.
+John Letney Don't run over any Krauts
Widziałem ten film jako dzieciak ,do dziś uwielbiam tą piosenkę i często ją odtwarzam .
Definitely.
It's so unfitting that it somehow manages to fit... I don't know how else to describe it, but I love things like this.
I love this movie so much I spent 12.99 for it an never regretted it ever. 🎉
As a veteran I have made a lot of moves. I have burned many bridges in my career and now I look back and feel so empty at what could have been. I look for my best friend Jerry Powell from the Army and I can not find him. Careful of the bridges that you burn as you can not go back.
I hear you brother! As we are fully living our lives, fighting for success, often we don’t fully way our decisions. I’m 68 now, but remember the night the bus pulled into Fort Ord, CA in Nov 73, like it was yesterday. Life comes at us fast and passes by like lightening. But, don’t be too hard on yourself, life must be lived forward and we can choose only so many doors to go thru! Cheers!
This movie was shot near where I live. Yugoslavia had a lot of weapons donated after WW2, Germany, USA and USSR. Tiger tanks were played by converted T-34s.
Seriously, they did such a good job on them, the only noticeable flaws is the length, frontal armour and the tracks.
Back when I had my Nissan 4x4 up in Washington, I would BLARE this song on repeat when I was off roading through the snow and mud. I still do it today when I go on the dirt roads here in Cali, but it's not the same as before.
What do you say....just one hell of a great movie. There are some where you'd pay top dollar to see again on a big screen. This movie without doubt would be one of those.
The whole film front to back is Classic.
One of my favorite songs since I was a kid
adore the theme to this movie mike curb did the music my mum used to be a barmaid when i was young used to bring the 45s out the jukebox home so from six onwards never forgot this simple happy times stumbled on a new mint copy years after street price 12 quid great tune
Great song, great actors, great great movie.
Well they all did a slice ... Clint the Marines, Telly The Army , even Carroll O Connor the Navy ,,,Harry Dean Stanton Marines,,, even the German was ex Werchmatt....
Rickles was in the Navy
America is still standing with pride
The bridge going to be there. Think positive
Make sure you don't have any Negative Waves.

Have a core memory with this movie. It was just my dad and I one new years eve when i was like 10. He popped this in the vhs player and we watched it together. I remember it vividly. Like it happened yesterday.
Donald Sutherland der Spinner geniale Besetzung.
Absolut mega Movie mit Clint Eastwood und Telly..
Mach es gut Donald Sutherland.❤
MAN what good movie!
This version is done at a much quicker tempo than the version in the closing credits.
As it should be, since Kelly is hauling ass back to his unit. Not a leisurely escape into the sunset.
When you and the bois went undercover to kidnap a Z-boy officer and now you gotta make it back to friendly lines...
And it ain't a bank but a silo with grain to feed the world.
Im lucky to own a Willys MB jeep and play this through a bluetooth speaker when i drive it about in the summer lol
RIP, Donald Sutherland.
This is one of the most special and fine films ever made.
my favorite movie and song
Pink Martini’s “splendour in the grass “ took me here !
Just simply brilliant
Excellent Movie/What A CAST!!!!!!

Pretty good quality .. The only star in this movie that had made it so far was Clint Eastwood .. So many of them went on to stardom ....
Harry Dean Stanton is still kicking.

Iconic
An amazing antiwar...yet a war film. A favorite
I love this movie.
Miporin's "Oarai's Heroes" are also in good regards. (^O^)/
For some reason - it's way better with the credits.
First war film I ever watched.
RIP Curtis and Jonathan Emerson.
Fukn great movie fukn great intro
Classic
I want this played at my fenul
Is there an existing clip available with the ORIGINAL THEATRICAL RELEASE of Kelly;s Heroes, using the instrumental theme by Lalo (Mission: Impossible) Schifrin?? The oriiginal score is on the release of the movie's initial LP soundtrack. which I still have. The Burning Bridges song, while cute, was used later on anyway. I'll bet the film's director was honked off after his film was altered AFTER it was in release.
It was common for the Germans to use a captured Jeep. But when the cop looked at it. Why is a American driving it?
Odd ball. A tanker.
The man who is Evil will he lean to be better person in near future.
the Germans in the chow line
Les grands esprits se rencontrent, as the French says !
Song has nothing to do with WWII but it works..
Great film, great intro, but isn`t the song "Tremeloes" Suddenly you love me...chorus ?
donald sutherlands hippy character seems out of place in this ww2 film, maybe in a movie during vietnam.
The whole thing is just a Vietnam War film... set in WW2. The tropes are all over. Even the music fits 'Nam better. (Given that it was made during the height of said war, it makes total sense. They could satirize the war... without it being "about" the war).
A section with 81mm mortars couldn't cause this much mayhem as said in this movie. 155mms (heavy Artillery) could do that.
did eastwood burn his bridges with yeal.
Vengo aquí por la muerte de Donald Sutherland.....
general Kelly m co fighting maga.
Well no one and all the computer crap and tec well never ever be able to make another movie like this at all , because of all the characters in it and all there style, they just blew all of you away with you technically and there technology, which you don't have today or ever will they were and are ahead of your time , all you do now is just copy you dont do the work at all you will never better this style of movie !!!
MPs is stoopid,no matter what army they're in.
America sings Great War songs they just can’t win any wars …
Oh? We didn't win WWII? This is a World War II movie you indescribable incredible retard!
Before Hollywoo made shit movies with second rate actors.
Too bad Americans can't drive a jeep manual style like this............they all drive automatic now LOL
