Jyn's Heroes - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Meets Kelly's Heroes
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 сер 2017
- What if Rogue One had not been made in 2016 but in 1970? It might have looked like this. Rogue One re-imagined as the WWII caper film Kelly's Heroes starring Clint Eastwood. Music and font from the film released in 1970. Special thanks to T. C. for recreating the font from the film.
"The reason why you can't hear us Mulligan... is because you're firing you turbolasers at YOUR END.... and they're coming down here... at OUR END!!!"
Nicely done! Nobody said anything about locking horns with no Imperial Forces and besides they’ll hear our Rebel engines long before we get close!
Mulligan, you better get outta town.
"No the Storm Troopers aren't here! WE'RE HERE!"
@@docdave15Now lift your GD barrage!

Oh man, you guys are crazy! Look when we was in the Hoth system we was *assaulted* by them there walkers! Y'know that I mean by assaulted huh?! Well I mean *ASSAULTED*!
I heard that in Telly Savalis's voice.
*looks at planet shield*
"Its still up!"
*Planet shield gets blown up*
"No it aint"
*Moriarty laughs*
"Crap!"
"Always with the negative waves, Moriarty."

Jyn to Tarkin: “You know what’s inside that installation? There’s 16 million credits worth of gold bars in that installation. And Governor, all you have to do to get an equal share of this money is to crank that superlaser around and blow a hole in that door.”
“But aren’t you the Rebel Army?”
@@matthewrascoe8690 "Governor, this installation's not gonna fall into the hands of the rebel army. It's gonna fall in our hands. You see, we're just a private enterprise operation."

“Scarif? That’s an imperial world!”
“I don’t know everyone seems very friendly.”

No negative vibes in this one
Thanks for the positive comment. Woof, woof!
@@RNKFanArt That's my other wamprat imitation!
So many POSITIVE waves, I mean, we can't lose, y'know?
Especially early in the morning……
I don't know how I stumbled onto this video, but it is absolutely great, and the comments section is amazing.
I love Kelly's Heroes and I stumbled upon this. Bloody well done, throughly enjoyed this.
Trevor big Kelly's Heroes fan here. Rogue one is the only Disney star wars movie worth watching. Nicely done.
I agree
Clint and crew 💚❤️💯♥️🎧🎧🎧🎶🎧🎶😍

Same here!
Got any other secret weapons?
Well, yeah, man, you see, like, all the AT-AT's we come up against are bigger and better than ours, so all we can hope to do is, like, scare 'em away, y'know. This gun is an ordinary laser but we add this piece of pipe onto it, and the Stormtroopers think, like, maybe it's a turbo laser. We got our own ammunition, it's filled with plasma. When we fire it, it makes... pretty pictures. Scares the hell outta people! We have a sonic cannon here, and when we go into battle we play music, very loud. It kind of... calms us down.
Woof Woof Woof! No negative waves on this one baby!
Cassian "What are you doing?"
Bodhi "Drinking some blue milk, catching some rays"
Cassian "Well what's happening"
Bodhi "The imperial hauler is busted and they're trying to fix it"

For the Rebellion, we can be heroes for three days.
This engine's been modified by our mechanical genius here, Chewbacca, Right?
Raworaa.
[giggles]
These engines are the fastest in any AT-AT's in the Rebel Alliance of Operations, forwards or backwards. You see, man, we like to feel we can get out of trouble, quicker than we got into it.
Well, now I actually want to see this movie
@@MrJedi5150Ehm...I watched it in the cinemas when it came out. Im not a big fan of Rogue One. But when it looks like this, I want to see it like it is edited to look here.
Made me happy watching this. Brings back memories watching Kelly's heroes with my father.
Same here back in memorial day 2012.i was watching Kelly's Heroes on TCM with my dad late at night enjoying some Coors Light.on that night I first fell in love with Kelly's Heroes.get movie of all times.
Been saying Rogue One is a comedy since I saw it. This works very well.
An absolute triumph in editing this piece together with a brilliant bit of music LOVE IT
Ha, i just watched Kelly heroes with my dad. Then this is in my feed. This is really good
The way this video matches the lyrics with the visuals is nothing short of perfect.
Criminally under-viewed.
This is the greatest thing in the history of the internet!!!!!
Got your back on that one, friend
Kelly's Heroes was one of my dad's favorite movies. I grew up 70s - 80s - mmm still trying. I love this song.
Wonderful creativity to put this together. Thank you. 🍻👍✌
FANTASTIC!!!! I had goosebumps throughout the whole vid. No negative waves here.
I was skeptical when I saw the title, but I was mistaken. You have done GREAT work here.

Yes! This was awesome!!!! Love Kelly’s Hero’s and Rogue One!!!
Absolutely brilliant , love Kelly's Heroes , the titles and music just work so well together , make more trailers like this
whats needed is a rebel driving a hover jeep through stormtrooper controlled streets in the rain.
With an Imperial Colonel as prisoner who will not divulge any information....an promptly tells you everything you would need intelligence wise.
@@jefferydraper4019 Gee,Kelly, why are you giving the Imperial the best Whyren's Reserve?
That was brilliant work! Thank you so much! Kelly's Heroes is one of the all-time great war films with a stellar cast, and the song "Burning Bridges", by the Mike Curb Congregation is awesome!
Brilliant. This deserves millions of views

This is well done. I like the beginning particularly. The WWII music combined with stormtrooper tanks is a new kind of awesome.
Oh, my god!!! One of my favourite movies meets one of my favourite movies.
Love this!!!!!
I didn't know how much I wanted this video until I saw it! You did a right jolly good show here!
This is amazing, In two days (23rd of June) will be 50th anniversary fo Kelly's Heroes :)
How have I not seen this sooner! Genius work mate, absolute genius!
Best open song for a war movie to date
2 years later and I still love this trailer. It is perfect! Thank you for sharing your vision with us!
Brilliant! - loved Kelly's Hero's, with one of the best musical themes of all time, that still holds itself today decades on. Best wishes to everybody involved in this! 5 Stars
Right on! RNK using the Mike Curb Congregation’s song is masterful. Never thought anyone could synch up two films with a 50 Year difference this well. I’m sure that Brian Hutton would have loved this. How about taking the Princess Leia rescue scene from the first Star Wars episode and working the rescue scene from Where Eagles Dare into it. Where Eagles Dare another Brian Hutton/Clint Eastwood great film this time with the great Richard Burton!
Brilliant! Kelly's Heroes are one of my favorites. So is Rogue One.
Well done!!! As an avid Kelley’s Hero’s and Star Wars fan, I’m simply in awe!
Is there anyway to contact you about how you make these things and other video production questions?
Totally amazing mix! Two amazing movies tied together...well done!
words can't describe how much I love this
This is gold. Two of my favorite movies and one of my favorite songs altogether here. Nicely done.

Not gonna lie, I would watch a SW movie with a Kelly's Heroes style story.
How can the Internet be be this good?

This is awesome! I don't know how I never saw it before today.
Great! The edits were well done.
Priceless!
That was brilliant!! Great bit of editing and I've always loved that song!!!
That was freaking amazing!!!
How have I only just discovered this?!
I've long been a big fan of "Kelly's Heroes", especially Donald Sutherland's portrayal of "Oddball", a proto-beatnik and tank platoon commander (well, deputy and acting commander, as their C.O. got decapitated by an 88mm round, presumably from a Tiger, Jagpanther, or Hornisse, just like what happens to Sgt. Binkowski in "Fury", "Crapgame" was collecting the late lieutenant's whiskey ration, presumably keeping some as a fee...), and I consider "Rogue One" to be the best production of the five theater-released films that Disney's put out since acquiring Lucasfilm in 2012. The gothic lettering of the credits, akin to the opening of KH, is a nice touch!
“To a Valltian like you, a Hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three AT-STs.”
Not to be pedantic, but if Oddball's officer got decapitated by an 88, it is far more likely that it was a towed 88, rather than one of the vehicle mounted ones.
@@f1b0nacc1sequence7 By 1944, few towed 88s were in front-line service. All along, they were crewed by LUFTWAFFE personel (Luftwaffefeldmenschen), ostensibly to protect German troops from the "dreaded Jabos", or Jagbombers, but used in the anti-tank role also. They required something like an Skfz 7 or 251 half-track as a prime mover, and by 1944, had too few of them nor sufficient gasoline for what they did have. The Flak 18 or 36 88-mm guns were needed more to defend the Reich itself, especially critical factories. So more likely, the 88 shell that decapitated Oddball's CO or SSgt Binkowski did come from a mobile mount. Also, we know it was an 88 round from a Tiger that gets Binkowski in Fury, but we're taking Oddball's wors for it in KH. More than likely his "Looie" got the "too close crewcut" from a 75mm round, and for THOSE, more likely a TOWED Pak 40, though diverse German AFVs sported a KwK or Pak 75mm main weapon.
OH MY GOSH THIS IS MAGNIFICENT
Brilliant
Splendid!!!!! Made my Day!!!!! Perfection !!!!!!
That was Awesome !
Andor: How many times have I got to remind you K2, just cut it out with the negative waves, Jyn has got it covered on our entry into the Data Bank you'll see, relax ok
