If you want to allign the sentence or the bullet just tap the first word and use the ruler to indent it

Aaaargh! You seemed to be on the point of explaining how to left-align the Bulleted items AND the Text ... and then you stopped! Please explain further: is it done by moving the Ruler-pointer for the Bullets to align the two (Ruler) pointers?
