It started when the Germans failed to capture Warsaw due to the mobility of quick soldiers. The German tank divisions and ground divisions decided to do the Blitzkrieg attack and capture Krakow and surround Warsaw in order to capture soldiers so it would be easier to take Poland. It started when the German tanks fired thousands of shells on hills, destroying trenches that Poland made. The ground German troops charged but got stopped by the firing of brave Polish soldiers. They got pushed back so badly that Poland captured the hill that the Germans were on. Out of no where, the German planes bombed the hill that Poland had captured, killing 1/4 of the Polish defenders of Krakow. The Poles retreated to the hill to make one last stand. 4,500 Germans charged with about 100 tanks while the German planes bombed the Polish lines. Poland fought so hard with their 900 troops and killed about 2,900 Germans and demolished 36 tanks. The Poles fought with all they had, but the Germans done brutal things to lower down the Poles.
