No, the backrooms in Kanes videos have a clear origin that is free of anyone shoehorning an SCP as the explanation for its existence. Now of the nerds that run the wiki want to incorporate the backrooms into the SCPVerse and make their own canon and have 184 as the cause of it that’s fine by me but it kinda turns me off whenever people try to make things that don’t necessarily belong to or are simply not a part of the universe part of it, like how that one dude wrote a whole file for slender man in the format you would see on the wiki and everything associated with slendy like the proxies and the symbols used, it’s good work but slender man will never be a part of the universe.

the labyrinth, sadly isn't the best place to put it, infinity times infinity could cause some very serious problems to the universe, and the path is always growing, so getting to the middle will be nearly impossible, and may be a deadly job just to map it out, but if they created a labyrinth outside the forest it may work

Scp 1678, scp 184. I have a theory that scp 184 or at least a copy of it was used to make the city of Unlondon. Think about it, the Architect had a knack for making copies of rooms with certain flaws in them, like a room made entirely of glass including the furniture and books. While scp 1678 had more flaws the further you get from the underground city's Houses of Parliament. That can't be a coincidence.

I like the story where they send out an expedition to the farthest reaches of the universe looking for other life, and as they get farther and farther they discover that everything out there is just progressively less exact and less accurate recreations of our solar system, with the laws of physics starting to break down and it eventually just being realized that keeping the Architect outside didn't stop its effect, it just made it so that instead of expanding the room it's in, it expands the entire universe instead. I don't remember if they ever say that it's responsible for the apparent contradiction of the universe being both infinite and somehow expanding, but it would make sense.

There are many interesting “lawless” areas around the world. I love learning about how people handle them. But none come close to how interesting the Kowloon walled city was. A hotbed of nonviolent crime. Violent crime was also increased, but somehow was never sincerely a problem. It is the best example of “organized chaos” that I can remember learning about. Such an interesting topic if anyone is interested in history and societal impact.

The best story I’ve seen about this SCP is the one where they go on a FTL ship and the story basicly unfolds that the universe itself is basicly constantly under influence by this SCP since the SCP is “inside” the universe.

@@Sanquinity lmao it is just a story. The whole point of the scp 001 series that they made wasn't to establish a definite scp-001, but to make it ambiguous and keep the mystery alive. They don't make multiple scp-001 videos just for this one to be the definitive one. As long as it aint a matter of fact in the main narative, wich it never was, it will stay as scp 184

Remember the Ikea can get people from different dimensions!
The back rooms have extremely harsh environments. I'm not even the foundation would have an easy time in there.

SCP is such a fun story, because it is a story of human beings being told to capture these creatures that aren’t humanly possible to comprehend, by creatures that aren’t humanly possible to comprehend. Does the space remain permanently altered? Can you construct within it? If so, this might create an interesting method of containing an SCP like 682 permanently, enclosing it in a vat of acid in an ever expanding space.
Since it's ever expanding, instead of containing 1 scp, they could just contain all the scps in 1 massive sight, & scps that were previously in different sights would be kept very far apart.

For instances, put 173 in this facility and 184 will eventually create rooms, object and furniture made of concrete and rebar with the same anomalous powers as the original. In short, you would have dozens of furniture and other objects that will kill you if you look away.

Scp 1678, scp 184. I have a theory that scp 184 or at least a copy of it was used to make the city of Unlondon. Think about it, the Architect had a knack for making copies of rooms with certain flaws in them, like a room made entirely of glass including the furniture and books. While scp 1678 had more flaws the further you get from the underground city's Houses of Parliament. That can't be a coincidence.

Ive been wondering for some time if the Foundation are aware of the Backrooms. And while this anomoly bears some similarities, its not the first infinite space the Foundation has encountered; nor does it have other traits of the Backrooms. So i dont think this is it

It would have been really funny if while they were walking inside of the temple 3 Asyncs employees walked in the back

Oh, so thats why the universe keeps expanding.
I like the story where they send out an expedition to the farthest reaches of the universe looking for other life, and as they get farther and farther they discover that everything out there is just progressively less exact and less accurate recreations of our solar system, with the laws of physics starting to break down and it eventually just being realized that keeping the Architect outside didn't stop its effect, it just made it so that instead of expanding the room it's in, it expands the entire universe instead. I don't remember if they ever say that it's responsible for the apparent contradiction of the universe being both infinite and somehow expanding, but it would make sense.
I'd assume that the copies would be WELL beyond what we could ever explore

I think this is how SCP 3008 is made, because they said some things are innapropiate and the thing is probaly the SCP's in there, they had the SCP inside an closed ikea and ignored it for like months, it was so long that it made it bigger than Jupiter.
There needs to be a series of movies emphasizing on the Backrooms and SCPs. Something like the MCU or Monsterverse.

SCP-184 is probably the one that caused SCP-3008.
Then how do you explain 3008's timeline-based properties? This doesn't get mentioned often, but 3008 is connected across many universes/timelines. I don't see how 184 would cause that.

There are many interesting “lawless” areas around the world. I love learning about how people handle them. But none come close to how interesting the Kowloon walled city was. A hotbed of nonviolent crime. Violent crime was also increased, but somehow was never sincerely a problem. It is the best example of “organized chaos” that I can remember learning about. Such an interesting topic if anyone is interested in history and societal impact.

In the movie over the hedge, a massive suburban neighborhood gets built in under four months. a single house takes around seven months to build, which is even more difficult in winter because the frozen ground makes digging a foundation a few times harder than normal. and the fact that there are roads, a fully functional drainage system, and a hedge provides even more proof that such a feat should not have been possible. When I was 15, I hypothesized that the backrooms and the neighborhood were connected and some company had found a way to control the backrooms.

Especially if it causes the spaces to grow exponentially. To anyone familiar with the concept of exponential growth an Ikea growing like that would become MASSIVE like bigger than the surface area of our whole planet in no time. There's no doors in Ikea's layouts other than single exits/entrances and the washrooms. There's only two problems with both the 3008 and backrooms theories a, it hasn't been shown to manifest animated entities like the ones that inhabit the backrooms or the various "staff " in 3008 and b, both locations are happened upon by people unintentionally. There's actually A LOT of parallels between the backrooms and 3008

3008 is ACTUALLY the backrooms as it has gateways to other universes, but this scp is only making a place bigger

It obviously has points of entry in multiple parallel but ultimately pretty similar universes (similar enough that a trip to Ikea is commonplace in all of them,) but when people do find exits it's like somehow it knows where to put them back in thier own world (many examples) it would be interesting if two people who met inside 3008 but were from different places found an exit together , although I think that'd be against ,3008s rules u never hear of more than one person funding an exit at a time .
