Don't buy, not a good product. I have a Tesla 3 Performance. I bought it in May 2023 and installed it, it was very tough to install and right after installation, driving 10 miles back to my house, one already fell off. I complained and they said to wait until Sept to get the updated model. Received the newer version which was much easier to install (more flexible) and it worked for a bit, now they've all start to become loose and stick out, then they segments starts to fall off and now my rims looks like a mess. I've taken them off since and rims looks much nicer. Not worth the headache. I've been complaining to the MagBak about it, and finally asked for a refund, which they said expired 30 days after I first purchased them. Even though we had an agreement that I would wait for the 2nd model and really gave it a try. Oh well, if someone can't back up their product, I wouldn't want to purchase from that company. Lesson learned. Posting to ensure no one else gets jipped.

Yeah, just installed them. Not sure if its me or the product, but I am pretty handy and this took me around 20-30 mins per wheel to install.

It's not you, it took me about the same tim to install per rim with ppf application. Hopefully they stay on.

What happens when you put your wheel on a tire changer. Wont they all be torn off? Has anyone replaced a tire after install?

I wish that I could put on tires that are just one side wider, because previous cars that I have owned the tires protected the rims.

once your tires wear out you can get the 295 tires, they are wider and protect the rims

Been wanting to get these but the price seems high for what your getting. Compared to just fixing a rim.

A set is $254+tax with code teslaflex. My friend recently paid over $400 just to have some curb rash, which rimcase would’ve prevented. Long term it’s a great value

I thought about it. But local shops near me can repair for $80 a rim. I’m in Florida. I do like the fact that they give a appearance of 22” rims though. LOL.

They go on pretty easily (first one took me about 30 minutes) and they look great but it seems like your ability to add air is somewhat restricted at least with the Model Y induction wheels. The threads for the valve stem sit about even with the rim protector and it doesn't seem possible to add air with a right angle air chuck like a Fanttik. Anyone?

Are there different kinds of rims for the 21” uberturbine wheels model y? I ordered the 21” for the model y but it doesn’t fit. It’s kind of frustrating.

Doesn't work in the car wash, as soon as the car wash grips my wheels, the segments fell off. The people in the carwash was puzzled, LOL!

Anyone else notice a strange "swooshing" sound that increases and decreases with speed after installing the MagBak RimCases? I have a Model Y with 21’’ Überturbine wheels and only installed one set on the front passenger wheel so far because of the aforementioned sound. I took it into Tesla service, but the tech was pretty adamant that the RimCase was what was causing the sound. He recommended removing it to confirm -- but as those that have installed know -- it's a pain in the @$$ to install/remove these things. I guess air could be making its way through the RimCase, but it seems strange since I can hear the sound even at slow speeds of around 5mph.

It was difficult to get the covers off with the adhesive not applied. It’s very sturdy! I kept 1 wheel without adhesive for testing and so far nothing has come off. The design clips on very securely
