Critical mistake putting any part of your body under the car if its just on a jack, any kind of jack. If the jack bleeds down or somone hits it, is there room for your legs and feet under the car? I dont think so low profile tires and a low body stance also no air in the wheel = crushed feet and legs and your stuck under the car.
This is asking for troubles with a capital T ! Banging away at the wheel when it’s just on a hydraulic jack, lol. Obviously this dude have never seen how such a jack could suddenly fail and drop down with the car on his legs etc. Seriously bad YTube example for others, doing more harm than good. SAD man!
The wheel he was working on still attached to the car. So even if the jack failed and the car fell down to the ground, all four wheel/tires would be there. Your comment had no basis.
Some videos show metal clips that need to be glued to the saver before installing it. I didn't see you installing them. Did you install before or does the pressure from the tire keep the saver on? Thanks
I for got to put this in the video and yes you have to put the clips in but I don’t apply super glue on the clips but I will keep in mind for the future
The rim is now protected from getting scratches on the front! Face of the rim, now if removed with a curbs hit them I believe the alloy gator will safe the face of the rim, the alloy gator is made of plastic
I brought these and they didn't fit in properly. I also didn't put any soapy water on them. Could this have been the reason they didn't go all the way in?

😂😂😂😂@@realbrosautopros1171
You didn't glue the little tab thing over that joins the two ends together
I apologize ,but that step is pretty self explanatory ;)
I have a new video with better explanation
@@realbrosautopros1171 this whole application is kinda self explanatory 😉
The black paint is now gone from the rim under the cover, if you remove it by hard acceleration you see the pure aluminium. Good Job.
I’m confused on this, can you elaborate more!

What color are you using on the model y? Black or Graphite?
For this video it’s black
Umm how do you get the wheels to turn when jacked? Model Y wheels seem stationary when in park & jacked.
Go inside close doors and put the car in tow mode in the settings make sure you put something on the other wheels so it doesn’t roll back
What or they for are they some type of protection for your wheels😮
Yes they protect the wheels edge
What are they called exactly and do they also work on tubeless tires
Does the alloy rim piece you installed dent from the hammer?
No it should not
Did You use the suitability gauge? Can You tell us what is the lenght of the green area of the gauge?
The hammer is called a Dead Blow Hammer.
I brought these and they didn't fit in properly. I also didn't put any soapy water on them. Could this have been the reason they didn't go all the way in?
Yes most likely they also have to be hit with the hammer pretty sturdy, and to make sure it looks nice and even
Where did you buy that from?

1:05 what is this liquid?
You paid about 56K for this car and now you do stuff that Tesla should do get the f truck man .
😅😅 curb rash happens on trucks too and the alloy gators fit them too
@@realbrosautopros1171not if the tires are higher then curb lol
Does it stay on during tire change?
No you must have them re applied by the company who put it on
@@realbrosautopros1171 thats the biggest downside
Bro is still tapping
😂😂
LOL - thanks!
These trap water and road salt and in the winter will cause the wheel to corrode
Wish i knew about these before i bought my Laramie midnight edition 😞
Not sure if I want to hammer those on my $10,000 wheels 😅
Looks pretty easy.
Yeah it is just need the tools
Until you get to the rear wheels that don't rotate
