  • I had no idea if I would be able to show results after 30 days without focusing on weight loss or measurements, but I'm so glad I did it this way! I hope this inspires anyone else who wants to build strength but simply can't get started or stick with it!

My husband is always saying "Something that's not nothing". A 5 min workout is achievable. And effective. Thanks for letting us in in your reprimand to yourself. We can do things if we give ourselves a chance! Balance is also hard.

You will LOVE having muscle!! It's so fun 😁 it feels so good to do heavy or weird things in life and have them feel easy. Feeling strong is the best! Even lifting groceries, cleaning, carrying stuff. No longer (as) exhausting. The day just feels a bit easier.

The way you talk about feeling surprised by how capable you are, sounds just like me. I got into running after watching your videos back in October. I have exercise induced asthma, and I just totally convinced myself that I could. not. run. But I’m here to say, that I CAN run. And because i totally shocked myself, I started to dream about ultra distance running. Hearing you say that you’d entertain a 50k, is exactly the kind of thing that I’ve been getting butterflies about.
All of sudden, we realize that it was all mental, and we usually get in our own way with crappy assumptions.
    You’re badass!!!

The mindset shift from “I know I can’t do this” to wanting to experiment to see what your body can adapt to is so inspiring! I was so shocked when I started making progress with running because I had always said I couldn’t do it. Maybe I need to try it with strength training too! Thanks for the reminder that we can do hard things. ❤

You can do it! I'm already shocked at how much easier my legs handle running!

This has been so inspiring!! I’ve been doing a work out routine 6 days a week ever since I saw you doing your 30 day challenge! I’m on week 3. No measurements, no weigh-ins, just measuring progress by how much easier the exercises are getting! That is a game-changer! By doing it this way, my head isn’t getting in the way and derailing me. Thanks for sharing your journey and inspiring us!

You got this! And it's such a good point that doing it this way doesn't allow our brains to get in the way and derail us! Just motivating progress that we can feel :) Congrats on week 3! That's when the momentum really builds.

I started cross training with Barre Class 2-3 times a week & Yoga class 3-5 times a week while only running 3 miles, 3 days a week. I ran my first race since January 13th this past Sunday … I ran a half marathon with a 32 minute PR! Strength training is the key!!! Thanks for the extremely entertaining & engaging videos!! ❤

This is awesome! What I've noticed on my fitness journey is how much those identities in school have stuck with me, and how I wish someone just explained how to change them wayyy sooner. Slow, or weak? This is what you do to improve it. Instead we spent years identifying as that. Heck yeah, can't wait to see where this takes you

I absolutely love the way you talk and gesture. I am so confused by many other content creator that are so serious, have no expression or personality.
    This video was very relatable!

Thanks for sharing Erin! I had a similar epiphany a few years ago, and feel so much better and stronger and more confident on the reg by incorporating daily exercise. Life changing! The people need to hear how simple it can be to just get up, push yourself, and mooooove.
Thanks for always keeping it real 💪

This is awesome. And so for real. I love these growth epiphanies. As I got fitter I realized what I was doing wasn't enough and whatever and then I just put my foot in it harder. I do agree that looks aren't the goal post. What you can do. The challenges you can overcome. It's so wonderful to get stronger. I've been working on pull-ups for over a year now and although I can barely eek out 3 it's better than last year and I'm always working on my form so I'm always getting stronger and it's a wonderful feeling. Thanks for your amazing videos and honesty. ✌🏻
