I'm really impressed with both interior /exterior, peugeot really pushing the standard in terms of looks .If that had a bmw badge, it wouldn't look out of place .
It's nice we're still seeing non-suv vehicles on the market. The lift back was a great choice for cargo flexibility. I like it, but I'm Canadian and so can't even entertain buying one.
Love this one. Bought one last year as a second / weekend car, does the job really well. And it’s a super good looking car! My main car is VW Touareg ; Good car, but too clunky to drive on my own…….!
Love how it looks, but the engines are a bit too small. Mazda 3 saloon is also stunning and it's skyactive X will give you 180 horsepower although slightly smaller in size It would be on my cars to double check list for sure however, next time I'm on the market for a car
Love that this is a diesel. I still drive diesel. My circumstances won't allow me to go electric yet......plus I really enjoy the drive. Great review Mark. 👏 😊
Keep an eye out for the next Mazda 6.........there are internet whispers that it might come with their new in-line 6 , 3.3ltr diesel engine. I'm the same as you.........I need Diesel.
Sadly the 508 R8 brand has so many issues with this model, stop start issues it stops working then customers are made to part with 200 to 300 pounds for new batteries. Out of line bodywork panels which causes drag knocking down fuel economy. The 1.5 Diesel is low powered so would not suggest making purchase of this cc. Paint issues on the 508 brand, this is because Peugeot have cut corners by NOT applying as many costs of paint & lacquer on this brand so stone chip damages are imminent & Peugeot UK walk away from this issue, I opened five claims & Peugeot closed them all down without resolving any of the concerns. So I had to turn to the Motor Ombudsman, who eventually upheld my claim & the dealership Peugeot Truscott's Exeter had to reimburse me just over 3k so I could sort the vehicle out.
I hope you’re right. The estate is better looking still. Modern diesels are perfect for this kind of car , and very clean . Can’t say I like the Peugeot dashboard design though .
Before I bought my new car the Corolla sport tourer I did consider one of these but as I was planning to move away from diesel it was a no because the 1.2 as you observed wouldn't pull you out of bed and the plug in hybrids of which there are 2 are too expensive to buy and insure, even the diesel was a much higher group than it needs to be plus my main reason for not going diesel was having to deal with adblue as my now sold Kadjar didn't need it and having had to put it into the work vans when I drove them it was a pain in the arse that I didn't want to have to deal with in my own private car. It's not a big shock either that EV sales have declined because they're too expensive to buy and insure even in the north where I live and we don't get a grant for them anymore either so I can see why sales have tailed off as the only folk who can afford EVs are those who get them as a company car.
Does this one come in fbu from China too like its (former PSA) sister too, the Citroen C5X? Perhaps I was not paying enough attention, but did you tell us what diesel engine is used in this Pug. and what its displacement is? Thanks, Frank
People are probably buying their last diesel car, while they are available and affordable. Lots of chatter about new and used luxury diesel cars being sold off cheap has probably also helped sales. For how much longer will you be able to drive these cars into town centres though? I'd give it a couple of years.
In a leading UK car magazine readers voted the C4 the best and most reliable car. Recent Power survey voted the P 2008 the most reliable car. Another recent survey out C and P in the top third of reliable car brands above BMW, Merc, Audi, LR. French reputation seems to stem from some past issues. I've had 2 P 2008s and they've both been fantastic.
Looks like it I have to admit ,while it looks old fashioned it's the easiest cruise control I have ever used (my 2019 berlingo work van has it) and is certainly easier to use than our 2024 hyundai kona.
@@grahameveale6483 no need to drive it to know it’s underpowered.. 130hp for the size of the car, definitely underpowered.. don’t know what cars you’ve driven that you think it’s not..
@@alexdobrea15 Exactly 1.5 diesel much too gutless ( with an 8 speed auto!!!) This would be a much better car with a strong 2 litre diesel. I actually have driven the 1.5 diesel in many platforms NO TORQUE very unpleasant in a large vehicle
I've always had a soft spot for large Pugs, and I like this one. It's sort of like an automotive weird crush. Great review.
Praise the Lord, it’s not an suv and it’s beautiful. That’ll do nicely.

Always liked the look of this. Hubby opted for 408 instead but this is better looking IMO
Last of the Mohicans. Superb review Nobby ! What a gem of a car !

I've the 'old' model, SW, with the 2.0 HDi 160 HP, it just is a dream, and also possible to bring consumption down to 5L or even less on long trips

There's one around the corner from me and it looks like the dogs dodars!, huge amount of space as well. Win win.
Pretty car but prices today are frightening for £46.000 my brother in law bought a Mercedes Benz E series estate.
These are very affordable used.
The pre-facelift was better looking, and a real bargain used now. Shame you can't get a non-PHEV 1.6 petrol.
Yep, just bought one, 1.5 diesel, 4k miles, love it.
Boot does not need to be electric. That would be one extra thing to go wrong.
2.0hdi biturbo with 250hp+ please.

Since when does a diesel need a range announcement in a video title?
Not a boring looking suv AT LAST SOME SORT OF STYLE 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤🎉
The estate is even nicer.
GT looks much better
Bring back the 2ltr 180bhp Diesel in the top GT trim........then they'll have my attention.
Looks like a Transformer

Will you have the new Duster on the channel in the near future?
Heading to Malaga mid April to drive it
@@NobbyOnCars Cheers, look forward to that.
Stunning looking car. One of the most stylish cars out there . I just wouldn't trust any French. I've heard too many horror stories.

Diesel, no thanks. It's a fuel for travelling salesmen and farmers.
Love my real world 450km range EV.
Lovely interior. Good mile muncher, but too much €
Did I see the old stlye cruise control on a stalk on left behind steering wheel?
Looks like it

Yeah. A little tricky to see the thing behind the wheel.
@@brianiswrong agree I always found it the easiest of them all
had a look at these and it's very good but that steering wheel meant me bobbing and weaving around trying to see anything . Not for me.
Engine too small and it's underpowered.. Certainly an attractive exterior..

Nice car but those PSA diesels are garbage!
No I wouldn’t put it on my list nice looking but no give me the Skoda
You said it Nobbs. Skoda Ocaivia. Why buy French when you can buy quality with a strong resale value. Skoda all the way.
Good review, nice looking car. Pity it’s a diesel.
love diesel
