I've had a 430i coupe for 3 years and it never fails to put a smile on my face when I drive it. It's the perfect balance between practicality and comfort while still being sporty. The back seats can carry 2 adults under 6' and the boot's a good size. The biggest improvement I made was to swap the tyres from run flats; instant reduction in road noise, got rid of the harsh ride and that's without the adaptive dampers so I would imagine with those fitted it would be an even bigger improvement. The interior whilst not the most exciting to look at is extremely well built with great ergonomics and not a single squeak or rattle. The red leather isn't as garish to look at in real life as it looks on camera. I also looked at the C Class couple which although looks more upmarket on the inside doesn't actually feel that classy once you start touching and prodding the materials. I had a remap put on mine so it's pushing close to 300hp now which has made a difference to not only performance but also economy, I'm averaging 40.5mpg. It really has been a pleasure to own the car and I'd highly recommend test driving one if you are in the market for a car like this.

My 420d GC is by far the best car I've ever owned. Great for any journey and averages 55mpg, even after a Superchips re map. It was perfect for moving my daughter's stuff to Uni and pretty handy around Thruxton too. 😁
Bought one of the last GC 420d M Sport models new in 2020. Rides extremely well, excellent mpg, acceleration very linear and just keep pulling - more than enough for general use. Excellent auto-box, and the BMW steering wheel is an absolute joy to hold. Downsides: a touch gruff on start up and in first gear, but into second and through the box becomes silky-smooth and quiet. Surprising that the door mirrors don’t fold in so you’re always a bit concerned in a car park or worried they’ll get knocked off if street parking, and bear in mind you sit much lower down than you might think in one of these - that would be seen as a positive for some, a pain for others. It’s a personal preference thing but it’s worth pointing out as not many reviewers mention this and if it’s an issue to you it might be best to look elsewhere. Hope that helps.
I've had two 4 series 14' plate 420d mineral grey, red interior and a 17' plate 435d xdrive carbon black, oyster interior. Both very good cars with no mechanical or electrical issues. I would agree that the six cyclinder's on the 435d was a much smoother ride and the power - wow! the review is spot on. Currently driving a new MK8 GTD and would love to get back into a 4 series soon!
Have a 440i and it's fantastic. Particularly with the Harmon Kardon speakers which are very good. I just try not to watch the petrol gauge visibly moving down in Sport mode
The economy you get for the performance is unbelievable, and while the 440i is nice you can’t get a better performance diesel than the 435d xdrive! I picked mine over an M4 and I have no regrets, it’s the ultimate sleeper car for those who don’t know what the 35+ models are about (which turns out there’s a lot of)
took my bmw for a service and they gave me one of these for the day while mine was getting done. i didnt want to give it back. was one of the best handling cars iv ever driven. beautiful car.
@@shiTthebed86 I have a M5 which is pretty low to be fair but the Z4 is on another level...Quite literally. Would be fine in Summer I guess with the roof down for the head room but I struggle to get out of it as it's so low 😄
Great review, mines a 420d in Carbon black (completely agree with you on it being the best colour) with the white dacota leather interior. The car's great on fuel, comfy, smart and the list goes on.
Tell you what Matt, every time I start daydreaming about my next car I UA-cam it and you have done a video on it. And I know it’s going to tell me everything I need to know about the car in a clear and funny easy to watch way. I bought this earlier in the week. Pick it up in a few days time. 420d 2018 snapper rocks blue with beige interior. Looks absolutely stunning. Thanks to this review specifically!
Hi Matt. Like you I love big 4 door 6 cylinder BMWs. I remember My dad buying an 6months old ex demo 1991 525i. Fantastic was and understatement I used to “borrow” it and would slide the arse out on many a big roundabout. Such fun. I think the 6 cylinder petrol is a great engine and to all those who say it uses too much fuel, they really need to enjoy life more and inject some fun in to their sad life. This review made smile that BMW can still give you that experience!! Take care. .
I went for the 3 series because of the price difference. Feel like they are cheaper to buy and still hold value better than 4 series when that time to sell it eventually comes.
Actually 4 series hold their value better. If you check for similar mileage and spec you’ll find an older 4 series is still more expensive than the older 3 series.
I did exactly the same and believe me I strongly disagree with that review. Owning 330d same year for 3 years i test drive at the time the 430d and 330d. I really don't understand why the 4 series is more expensive honestly. 4 series was meant to replace the 3 series coupe and convertable models. The one on the review 2 litre diesel is horrible noisy gutless engine. The idle on many of it is rough and really not pleasant.
Oh, ok, my mistake then. But still, 3 series is quite a lot easier to sell considering its popularity (at least in my country). I would prefer the 4 series GC because of the awesome trunk opening, but I just couldn’t justify the price difference (and sellability was important too, if that’s a word)
The consumption for me is 6.3 litres per 100 kilometers around town and about 4.5 on open road. I own 320d which is really economical. I also drive carefully (not rushing when it’s time to take off, not flying into red lights and stomping on brakes)
I have a 2018 one of these, and the main reasons for swapping this from an A4, was the xdrive and folding rear seats as stanard, unlike the 3 series which charges for folding rear seats. Plus it looks much better than the three series,
Totally agree, 3 series looks boring in comparison. My neighbour has the 3 series and parks behind me and each time I see them parked up, I get a smile on my face 😀
I’ve been looking at one of these as I’d like something sporty, but need four doors to transport my old folks around. I’ve noticed that on the second hand market, it’s not such a big price jump from a 420 to a 430 model (if you want a bit more shove). You are absolutely right about BMW main dealers too.
I picked up a 435i even with four doors it's such a beautiful piece definitely looks special . Now I'm. Hunting the m4 but won't let the 435i go giving smaller cars a run for the money
My Wife had one of these as a company car for four years. Asides from a recall (I think) on the EGR valve, it gave no trouble at all, averaging between 800 and 1K miles per week. Agree with everything you say about the refinement ride and comfort, and the hatch really does help with practicality. Ours was in mineral grey with beige leather, your slaughterhouse interior looks better with white! 🤣👍 Good review as usual.
@@jamj59 Yes, it was a crazy amount, all over the country and in Europe. She loved it, I just wished it was the 6 cylinder though...I loved the range it had though, its replacement is an X1 25e, nice but an 8 gallon petrol tank vs the Gran Coupe diesel, I see more frequent fuel stops in our future...
After your review of a 530GT last year , I treated myself to a luxury car for the 1st time BMW 630dGT and love it ,auto box , digital dash, never had these things before, to me its like an event every time I drive it ,the only thing I disagree on, I love the electronic brake with the auto hold function, it makes it so easy to drive, great reviews as always.
That front splitter is a nightmare. I had a 440i and it caught everywhere, the car wasn’t lowered. Now I’ve got an m2 comp with a front splitter and it doesn’t catch at all. Weird that.
Thanks for that piece of advice! I was contemplating aftermarket front splitter but sounds like it will be a nightmare! Will stick to standard M Sport.
I've got the 640D Gran coupe. It's an absolute beast and a real head turner. I get stopped all the time and asked about it when I'm parking up. Although diesel, its 3.00 litre turbo and goes like Sh#t off a Teflon coated shovel. Stunning! Quiet too. The only fault? Parking it. Its bloody massive and even with rear camera, visibility is poor especially at night. The alloys are kerb magnets..
Boss had a 640d GC a few years back. Fabulous car in every respect - apart from the standard M-Sport suspension. It was so hard that I couldn't drive it for more than an hour without climbing out with a knackered spine. Adaptive dampers a must!
I had a black 2015 plate Gran Coupe 420D M Sport. It was a great car. In 2019 changed it for 430D x Drive coupe. Great car the perfect blend of performance and economy. It's better on fuel than my 420D. I agree don't just use supermarket fuel. I am not sold on the new shape so my next car will need to be something else.
Got a 435d GC two weeks ago, wow it’s quick… love the sound as well. Makes a cracking family car, even the travel sick prone children love it, say it is much better than the A6 it replaced
I picked up a pre-owned 2019 440i Gran Coupe and absolutely love the car. It’s perfect in size and the B58 engine is perfect. This is a very fun car to drive.
I have the 435d iX Convertible. I disagree about the value of XDrive, as I find 4WD with Michelin CrossClimate tyres make it a great all rounder. I love the huge 6-cylinder torque, reasonable mg and surprisingly good ride comfort. The most surprising aspect is how utterly solid I feels with the roof down. I too have the red leather which suits the car well.
I have just brought a 2014 gran coupe 420d luxury in imperial blue with oyster leather interior. I did look at an msport but the luxury had additional sunroof, gun metal grey multi spoke holidays and the professional sat nav and those things swung it for me. Very impressed with the car. I am usually a 5 series guy but was looking for something not so big, not really a fan of the 3 series and then I saw this review and thought yeah why not. Oh yeah, I like the xdrive which seems to grip well
I bought a 2016 435d 2 door and it's an absolute beast 😎 and in normal mode it does have a really nice comfortable ride for about town then everything tightens up when in sport 👍🔥🔥 fantastic car and amazingly I'm getting 45mpg on average....not bad with it mapped to just under 400bhp! That's insane as my 2.2d Mazda 3 was getting the same lol
@@W0nka76 I'm mostly in comfort going to work and back so I would say I'm at least 80 motorway miles and possibly the stage 1 remap has made a difference as I'm quite surprised at the mpg for such a powerful car....some cars mate that's for sure 😎🔥🔥🔥
Great review as always, I do like the 4 series but have to disagree with the red interior and my. Main gripe with bms is I find the interiors boring. Outside its a cracking car and much better car than the 3 series especially the coupe.
Picked up a 420dGC about 3 months back and couldn’t be happier, was looking at the 5 but there wasn’t a configuration to match the 4GC, looks, practicality, drive, brilliant, totally agree with the review! 👏, not sure on the spec reviewed though, mine is an //M but blue with ivory, I think black with red and those aftermarket lip spoilers is a bit much ha
Totally agree and pretty much same here although bought it 7 months ago. Went for black with black int. as that was the colour available with my preferred spec and price, but would've preferred blue perhaps. Anyway cracking car and couldn't be happier with it.

@@HighPeakAutos even worse is that even if you can close the door onto the first "catch" and it isnt properly closed, the auto box locks and won't let you drive!
I have a BMW 220i which is a smaller 4 series, with 2 doors only. It’s an absolute dream. Yes my servicing bills are a tad higher than a typical car but it’s worth it. Getting from A to B is fun. Every time I drive someone else’s car I miss mine.
Too fat. I like beemers but they are just too big in diameter on this gen and rim thickness. The next gen have addressed the diameter size but still for people with Andre the Giant sized fingers
Hate to break it to you - they’ve dropped the non-M V8 5 series, so no 550i anymore. They’ve dropped all three GT models too. Fastest wagon is now the 540i in the UK, with a supercharged V6 and about 340hp. Makes a lot of sense really - I don’t think I ever saw a 550i.
Recently sold my wife’s 435d GC xdrive which had the same spec as the GC in the video, apart from all the stick on bits on the outside. Absolutely great car, engine was immense and the car was a riot on a cold morning with cold tires. I was pleased to hear you liked the car as we would have another in a heartbeat.
2 years ago in lockdown I was looking for this 4 series but with xdrive it looked great with the boot space I needed ! Anyway a 3 series GT 2.0 came up with 40k on the clock and got to say not had one complaint not everybody’s cup of tea but when that rear spoiler comes out of the boot at 64mph still gives me a thrill , Nice review Matt keep them coming …..
I also have a 3 series GT. Think it could be fun to have you review that model. Many of the things you say you love about the 4 series, you also find in the 3GT. 👍
One of the side benefits from your videos is watching the Peak District scenery as you drive along. Unfortunately not today with that fog. You make great videos and a consistently entertaining style in your delivery.
Picking up my 2021 420i Gran Coupe petrol today with just over 4k miles on it and really enjoyed (and relieved) with this positive review Matt. Am also an accountant and will take this opportunity now to apologise for all those Monday mornings. Will try to do better! Excellent video as always!
Mate, everything you like about that car is the same as why I like my Kia Stinger so much; great looks, lift back, red leather etc. Except mine is a twin turbo V6. Never thought I’d love a Kia, but there you go (plus it’s about the car, not the brand).
Real head turner. Myself also not a 3 Series fan, since there are just TOO many on the roads, besides being cramped on the inside and quite bulky when parked inside a smallish garage.
One of those Banana BMWs was hooning up behind me in the dusk 2 nights ago ... No lights, and flying past doing 60 in a 30 zone, with a Focus ST glued to its derriere. This is when we all need 007 Cannons in the front bumper. Was it you Matt?
I have a 2019 420i Gran Coupe in carbon black metallic - I love it, it handles, looks beautifully elegant, is fast enough, and has great sounding engine. Unfortunately, its booked to take it to an independent BMW specialist because of a P0302 code drive train malfunction - cylinder 2 is misfiring - I hope we can get it resolved. Gutted and very sad.
While these look nicer they are heavier than a regular 3? Id imagine less spacious too. Id take the extra stiffness with the framed windows and a 340 touring thanks. And 3:45 so true 🤣 my radio presets have had the minor coffee accident.
The window frames add nothing to the stiffness of the car, they are a convenient way to park the raised windows. BMW, Porsche, etc drop the windows a few mm for clearance when the door handle is lifted. The cabin is virtually identical to the 3 Series but rear head room may be slightly less in the 4GC than in a 3Touring. I think the 4 has higher-spec as standard iDrive, dials, etc than the equivalent 3, which explains the cost difference. Looks-wise it’s no contest and the only exterior panel common to both 4 and 3 Series is the bonnet. I did look at quite a few 335d Tourings but prefer the looks and spec of the 435d.
I had the GC and the Coupe. Loved them both, both were x drive. Dealt with snow and ice with aplomb, such a good feeling driving past c class and e class drivers stuck in the snow. Agree with you on the BMW dealers, such pricks. Apart from Bowker Blackburn who were ok. Thanks for the review.
Just remembered that we traded that 3 series touring for an suv (easier to get in and out) we settled on the then ix35 crdi 4x4…. Mmm after 8 years we’ve had less bother than the beemer..??? And everything still works!
Must admit I don’t quite understand the criticism of the 3 series in relation to the 4 gran sport. The 3 has same size boot as the 4, more rear room and is fractionally lighter model for model. The F30 is actually one of the lightest in its class. Do agree the 4 is a lovely looking thing though.
Running a 2010 E92 330D auto, great car. I would have one of these 4 series but no way with the red interior, tasteless IMHO, it's not even a decent shade of red. Keep em coming .
I just bought a 420d coupe a few days ago. Amazing car ! I think its very important to opt for the adaptive suspension as the car transforms into a very sporty car on corners. A question I would have on the ZF gearbox is how often should they be serviced ?
As one who bought a then four year old 2012 520d with 75k miles on, I can confirm that getting them over 150k is easy. I've had it over 5 years now, and still love it. Only thing I'd change it for is one with a 6 cylinder engine (either petrol or diesel) and memory seats
During my last mid life crisis I bought a used 2016 435d X drive M Sport, lovely car but dangerously wooly steering. The 2018 435d X drive M Sport coupe I had was a slight improvement but I never understood why BMW failed so spectacularly to give us a car that could hold a straight line. Almost bought another the other day as I do miss the sheer power of these cars but can only afford 6 year fairly old high mile cars now so probably not the most sensible move.
I have had a few BMW s in the 3 series lots of trouble with them, but a fantastic place to be when you are on the road when they working fine, very comfy :) easy to like when they work fine, but I do not go back and get me one :))

6:56 430i is also 2.0 petrol engine, it’s not 6cyl.
Is the 420d reliable?
Have a 440i and it's fantastic. Particularly with the Harmon Kardon speakers which are very good. I just try not to watch the petrol gauge visibly moving down in Sport mode
Lovely car, 435d is the proper model to have, economical fast and enough torque to tow the QE2, another great review dude, keep them coming…
How would you say it is economical, what mpg do you get around town and motorway?
@@LyricalWax mid 30’s to low 40’s from my 335d. Not as economical as the 20d engine obviously but extremely good bearing in mind the power there
Disagree, without doubt the proper model is the 440i m sport!!
The economy you get for the performance is unbelievable, and while the 440i is nice you can’t get a better performance diesel than the 435d xdrive! I picked mine over an M4 and I have no regrets, it’s the ultimate sleeper car for those who don’t know what the 35+ models are about (which turns out there’s a lot of)
Get 430d mapped stage 1, much cheaper alternative than buying 435d.
took my bmw for a service and they gave me one of these for the day while mine was getting done. i didnt want to give it back. was one of the best handling cars iv ever driven. beautiful car.
Very nice!
Your lucky. They gave me a Z4 and I have a headache from banging my head on the roof getting in 🤪. Can't wait to give it back tomorrow.
@@drivetrain1746 i know what you mean. i have an x3 and getting in and out that 4 series was comical. like sitting on the floor.
I have one and can highly recommend the 6 cyl versions. If you're going to do it, do it right.
Which version is the 6cyl and from what year?
I just bought a 2018 420d m sport similar to this one, thanks for the review really helped make up my mind prior to buying.
I have a 430d GC - best car I've ever owned. Fast, fun to drive (RWD), cheap to run, and managed to move house in it! Incredible workhorse.
Tell you what Matt, every time I start daydreaming about my next car I UA-cam it and you have done a video on it. And I know it’s going to tell me everything I need to know about the car in a clear and funny easy to watch way. Soon you’ll be the go to on every ‘normal’ secondhand car review, more so than carwow or top gear. Keep up the hard work mate. Have a great 2023
One of the last proper BMWs for a while now.
I think the new 5 series looks great, personally
I bought this earlier in the week. Pick it up in a few days time. 420d 2018 snapper rocks blue with beige interior. Looks absolutely stunning.
Thanks to this review specifically!
Best colour combination imo! I’ve put a deposit down on one exactly the same! Enjoying it?
Take care. .
The 4 series Gran Coupe is a 4 door version of a 2 door version of the 3 series, what a mindfuckk..
Hahaha yes exactly!
Can you tell me about consumption?
Oh, ok, my mistake then. But still, 3 series is quite a lot easier to sell considering its popularity (at least in my country). I would prefer the 4 series GC because of the awesome trunk opening, but I just couldn’t justify the price difference (and sellability was important too, if that’s a word)
The consumption for me is 6.3 litres per 100 kilometers around town and about 4.5 on open road. I own 320d which is really economical. I also drive carefully (not rushing when it’s time to take off, not flying into red lights and stomping on brakes)
Have one of these 420D GC's in M-Sport trim like this, Absolutely love it! Thanks for doing a video on it, great as always 👌
Absolutely love your videos Matt. Perfect way to wind down after a hard day. Glad to see your channel grow.
My dad had one of those when I was younger in 2017. 420d auto cause he did lots of miles… I really liked it
Good choice
I’ve been looking at one of these as I’d like something sporty, but need four doors to transport my old folks around. I’ve noticed that on the second hand market, it’s not such a big price jump from a 420 to a 430 model (if you want a bit more shove). You are absolutely right about BMW main dealers too.
A lot more shove
I have parents too and it’s not the best car for them as it’s a bit low- slightly higher car would be better for that
I picked up a 435i even with four doors it's such a beautiful piece definitely looks special .
Good review as usual.
Christ Steve that's a lot of driving!
@@jamj59 Yes, it was a crazy amount, all over the country and in Europe. She loved it, I just wished it was the 6 cylinder though...I loved the range it had though, its replacement is an X1 25e, nice but an 8 gallon petrol tank vs the Gran Coupe diesel, I see more frequent fuel stops in our future...
what does she do for work to get this car if you don’t mind me asking?
@@joc9275 Travel! 😁
Did your front splitter break in the end? Or stayed in one piece? @Joe
The 640d and the 435d share the same engine.
Why is this comment copied twice on two different accounts?
I have just brought a 2014 gran coupe 420d luxury in imperial blue with oyster leather interior. I did look at an msport but the luxury had additional sunroof, gun metal grey multi spoke holidays and the professional sat nav and those things swung it for me. Very impressed with the car. I am usually a 5 series guy but was looking for something not so big, not really a fan of the 3 series and then I saw this review and thought yeah why not. Oh yeah, I like the xdrive which seems to grip well
I love my bmw 5 series my only gripe with it is the rubber controls for adaptive cruise control they should be metal as they wear out really easily.
I have the 430d xdrive, and the grip + torque makes the car a propper sleeper
Same car, M Sport. Love it!
I've got a 2016 435d gran coupe and I'm lucky if I get 35mpg in eco mode.
But the power in sport though is unbelievable and the launch control WOW
@@LyricalWax black on black is nice, just not the red ha, my girlfriend has black on black 2door, the Msport+ which is a great looking car, esp the bigger diamond cut 19” wheels 👌
Black out look. Coral red leather. Reminds me of Deansgate Mcr. When a BMW looked like a BMW.
Strong jack of all trades car this. Someone at work has one in mineral grey and I always admire it briefly when I’m crossing the car park.
As a late 20s male, who makes good money, works out and has lots of “casual acquaintances” this is now my favorite review. Picking up my 2015 435i gran coupe tomorrow
Haha well done. Enjoy
At 64 nearly 65, I am looking at getting a 4 series Grand Coupe 435D x drive with Red or Cream interior.
So that’s the kudos of twenty somethings destroyed.
I have a 2016 pearl black Msport 420d with cream leather and can only endorse everything Matt says about it. Fantastic all rounder....just a real pleasure to drive every day and around 60mpg on my commute. On 115k now and doesn't miss a beat with no rattles.
Hey Matt, the 430i is a 4-cylinder 2 litre, just a rebadged 428i
Ah ok. I thought the 430i was a 6 and the 428i a 4
@@HighPeakAutos gone are the days when the numbers actually meant something haha
Frameless doors may = cool, but in my 4 series it also = not going anywhere fast on frosty mornings!
That’s true. That’s annoying
Yes - looks like the sort of car a cad or a bounder might drive. That red/black colour combo is great - my favourite City away kit of all time.
That steering wheel is a work of art.
Im a bit obsessed with it
I drive 2014 F30 335d Msport and im more then happy with its looks and performance, fantastic car.
2 years ago in lockdown I was looking for this 4 series but with xdrive it looked great with the boot space I needed !
Anyway a 3 series GT 2.0 came up with 40k on the clock and got to say not had one complaint not everybody’s cup of tea but when that rear spoiler comes out of the boot at 64mph still gives me a thrill ,
Nice review Matt keep them coming …..
I’ve never had a 3GT
How you getting on with it , collecting a 2020 with 8k miles soon
I love mine! 430i gc. It’s all the refinement in a 5 but goes like a 340i
Good choice
I think 430i is also 4 cylinder. Correct me if I am wrong.
430i is 4, while the 430d is a 6.
Watching this video being a 29 year old male who likes to work out and is considering getting one of these, that was to accurate. Well done.
Get one. They’re great cars
@@HighPeakAutos I really liked driving it, but i drive 800-900 km per week, and i am not sure it fits those needs.
Mate, everything you like about that car is the same as why I like my Kia Stinger so much; great looks, lift back, red leather etc. Except mine is a twin turbo V6. Never thought I’d love a Kia, but there you go (plus it’s about the car, not the brand).
430i is 4 cyl unfortunately. Just beefed up 420
Got a BMW 3 series but some of the 4 Series Gran coupe builds I've seen are absolutely stunning
Real head turner. Myself also not a 3 Series fan, since there are just TOO many on the roads, besides being cramped on the inside and quite bulky when parked inside a smallish garage.
Great video mat! Thank you for the grat content, i just want to add that the 430 petrol is a 4- cylinder, cheers!
One of those Banana BMWs was hooning up behind me in the dusk 2 nights ago ...
No lights, and flying past doing 60 in a 30 zone, with a Focus ST glued to its derriere.
This is when we all need 007 Cannons in the front bumper. Was it you Matt?
430D GC owner, my EGR got a coolant leak at 30k miles! Once fixed, no other issues
I just purchased one myself, great fun in sports mode.
Enjoy it
Love my 420D GC. Easy to drive, comfortable, great on fuel and safe for my family.
430i is a four cylinder inline turbo too.
BRILLIANT! Not only can you tailgate and undertake in this car - you can also pull off handbrake skids!!!
While these look nicer they are heavier than a regular 3? Id imagine less spacious too. Id take the extra stiffness with the framed windows and a 340 touring thanks. And 3:45 so true 🤣 my radio presets have had the minor coffee accident.
I had a Q7 with a fried circuit board thanks to that design 😂
3 Series coupe is perfect size for me, single dad with one teenage child. Got the 3 litre petrol with 272 bhp so it can be as heavy as it wants.
That in black looks a stunner. Deffo get rid of the gaudy stickers though. Great review Matt.
Stunning looking car, I'm a fan of the red leather seats
Me too!
I frickin love the humour slightly creeping in on these reviews.
When you said what type of person this car was for … I immediately thought… a bell end. Like the a3 saloon , that was also made for a bell end
He’s talking out his ass
Running a 2010 E92 330D auto, great car. I would have one of these 4 series but no way with the red interior, tasteless IMHO, it's not even a decent shade of red. Keep em coming .
Did you know that BMW has such a great quality that 80% of them are still on the road?
Only 20% made it home...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well done. Looking for this as my next car. All modern diesels have their weak spots. Thumb up.
Been waiting for this video since you posted it on your insta, sick video matt
Hope you enjoyed it!
I just bought a 420d coupe a few days ago. Amazing car ! I think its very important to opt for the adaptive suspension as the car transforms into a very sporty car on corners.
A question I would have on the ZF gearbox is how often should they be serviced ?
Every 60,000 miles 👍🏻
As one who bought a then four year old 2012 520d with 75k miles on, I can confirm that getting them over 150k is easy. I've had it over 5 years now, and still love it. Only thing I'd change it for is one with a 6 cylinder engine (either petrol or diesel) and memory seats
agree. never really was a fan of the 3series, unless it was a coupe back then. i think the 4 GC is a perfect mix.
I was in love with the 4Gran Coupe for a while when it first came out
Just bought this car yesterday and I am loving it :)
Enjoy it
During my last mid life crisis I bought a used 2016 435d X drive M Sport, lovely car but dangerously wooly steering.
This model looks so much better than the new one
I have had a few BMW s in the 3 series lots of trouble with them, but a fantastic place to be when you are on the road when they working fine, very comfy :) easy to like when they work fine, but I do not go back and get me one :))
