I have it the same but in the black version. It is a fantastic machine, simple to use and of superlative mechanical and aesthetic quality.
Since the TTL version has a TTL flash feature and the non-TTL version does not, it would be nice to know how the TTL M6 works with the TTL flash.

I'm surprised that you find the rangefinder patch to be dim. FYI: if you experience flare in the viewfinder, shift the positioning of your eye in relation to the camera (or vice versa) ever so slightly and you should find that you regain the rangefinder patch.

Leica M6 TTL??????? I'm an old timer and own a Leica M3 with three lenses a 35mm, a 50mm, and a 90mm. Its a beat up camera that takes beautiful photographs. I bought it used in 1974. The advantage of a Leica Rangefinder is that its so quiet and such a well built camera. The old photojournalists like Eugene Smith, Robert Capa, and many Look and Life photographers used the Leica because it was light and sturdy. I like the rangefinder more than a Single Lens reflex for 35mm shooting. A Leica is well worth the price.

You didnt mention the off area on the dial. If after a days shooting you don’t turn the dial to off, the battery will run down quick,
