- Limbersa Bus Crash Recovery By Excavator Kobelco SK75 And CAT 320D2 Extended. Tuesday 2, January 2018 a tourism buses loose control on the steep road then crashes into deep cliff. 29 passenger injured and sent to the hospital for medical recovery. This buses successfully recovered from the crashes site on Thursday 4, January 2018. Two excavator used to finish the job, CAT 320D2 Excavator and Kobelco SK75 Excavator. It took 6 hours to recover the buses. There is no crane service that can handle and recover this crashes buses before. All this recovery action, damage risk was monitored and allowed by the Bus owner. Plants and trees damage by the recovery impact are paid, Field structure, including the slope, bank and other damage structure are paid and replaced.

I am amazed that there was absolutely no concern for the safety of the dozens of people including small babies. I cannot even imagine something like that taking place in the US, or any modern western country.
I know your post was several years ago. I served in a number of places in Southeast Asia in the military. There was a rule: The larger vehicle had the right away. I would have picked up on this had the videos played at regular speed. It seems nothing has changed. I still understand a fair amount of what they are speaking. I was there and saw this in real life. One night I had taken a rather nice bus from the base to go to Bangkok and a very large truck had run over a small Datsun pickup. It was loaded in the back with people catching a ride. All that was left of the people was a huge area of blood. In short a huge greasy spot on the highway. It made me physically sick and I had seen a huge amount of blood shed. They would place a bench on each side in the back, a canopy overhead and you rode for a nickle. It was just awful. This was in Thailand but I served in several other places as well. The rule was the same. I don't even know if you had to have a permit to drive. What you see in these videos is exactly the same as in the 70's.

Thanks for uploading this. The operators were very good, I like their nerve too - drop a few buckets of dirt beside the road then drive down the cliff edge. Did anyone else notice the single man helping for a while to push the bus up the hill at the front, drivers side. A successful recovery, it must have been the 20 people shouting instructions all at once that helped!!.

29 passenger injured, no one died. They are in good condition right now. Crane can't handle this high risk work, so they use Excavator. Thank you for watching and greeting from Java.

That was full sized bus! About the only thing you can build to stop that would be a wall of concrete! But then it would have killed most of the people on the bus! Even in the US it's almost impossible to stop trucks and buses with guardrails and barriers like that.

Yes, they will sent to the bus body repair service, and it will run again, the owner want to keep the engine and chassis safe on the recovery progress at the time, while he want to repaired. I have 3 Japanese scooters and 1 Italian 150cc Scooter Piagio Vespa. I'm so sorry to hear that.... We have to add more extra security system to our vehicle to prevent it happen again. Thank you.

in such like incident it is advisable to use a crane to avoid more damages if any case the bus is still useful...
The Crane was survey the accident site before, and they can't do this job, another crane said the same too, then the bus owner use the Excavator to do it. The damage are allowed by the boss of the bus owner, the boss want the chassis and engine safe. Thank you for watching, and greeting from Java.
